I have some 270/10.8 cams and want to adv the IN and retard the EX to improve lower down torque/boost. Have a standard head (some port work) but not skimmed and running a 1mm HG. Pistons not recessed. Just wondering if anyone else has advanced a similar cam with thin HGs in regards to PV clearance. Normally min is 2mm inlet and 2.5mm exhaust. Searched but could not find anything related to PV clearance. Engine is in the car and do not want to pull the head off, heard people using bluetack on a cable tie with a drop of oil on it Anyone's real experience and info on this would be great !

Overrated mate save your money. Your response looks better than an 8374 for sure. I have never seen a convincing dyno chart for and rb26 or 28 yet even though these things have been out forever. Will be interesting to see piggazis and Harrisracings when they eventually post a chart.
