just drop it all, flush it through with water a couple times and put new coolant in, it'll be fine. It's just a bitch without a hoist

'03 V35 Window Motor - I Know This Has Been Covered!
Haino replied to Haino's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
its a brand newy lol nothing has worked and I really cant find anything on the net -
hey guys, I know this must have been covered at some point by im running out of options, Okay so everyone knows the window motors are a common thing to f**k up on the V35's, thats all well and good my Driver side one buggered itself so I replaced it, had the 1/4 window down problem, used the correct "Window Motor Reset" process, http://infinitihelp.com/diy/gcoupe/projects/infiniti_g35_window_motor_replacement_procedure.php and it solved that problem but iccured another one, NOW when everything is replaced the window will go up and down fine UNTIL it reaches the FULLY DOWN position, then it wont go back up, almost likes it too far down.... I can use the 1st-click to go up and down, and even the auto up, but use auto down or accidently 1st-click all the way down, its gone...gotta open the door up, take the mottor off. wind the window up manually a tad..then put everything back together and its all good.... I know loads of people have the initial problem but cant find much on this secondary problem.... Anyone??? Cheers,

Cobey's a familiar face, finally got around to puttin that cluster in a couple weeks ago, this kit still up?
-
Well you could go with them but proper HID's require a conversion kit, which is simply a globe connected to wires connected to a ballast (power booster outlet thingy) connected to wires which plug into ur stock wires running to the power, this means a complete change in shit, I had to pull the stock globes out and corresponding wires, cut a 20mm Hole in the back of the low beam cap that screws into the back of the headlight and run the new HID globe n wires through it, which then connects to the ballest which u mount onto the engine bay somewhere, dw you get mounting brackets, then plug into the ground wires etc. running to the power source. So if u want to go proper HID's in a V35 coupe, ur gonna need to cut a hole in the headlight cap, the old plugs still sit there so if need to u can just plug in the stock shit again but if u take the head light out and look at the back, ull know what I mean, to run the extra cables for HID's youll need to cut a hole, but if u want to just change the colour to a white/blue bulb n use stock system thts fine, proper HID's need a conversion kit with ballasts, oh and mounting them in a B***H, I just cable tyed them as best I could haha

You can buy already cut-to-fit vinyl tint, that you just apply to the taillight, Id suggest using something like a hairdryer to heat the vinyl up to mould it into the taillight if you have the taillights that arnt flat across, but Im pretty sure any taillight tinting is illegal in all states? Hell im in W.A. and if its banned here then it would have been banned in the eastern states ages ago before W.A. We are still aloud to use radar detectors in W.A. o.0 XD but yea anyway, search ebay "G35 coupe Smoked taillight tint", fairly easy to do, plus just heat+rip off if ever stickered, f*k spray!
