  1. This actually looks good!!!
  2. http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/nissan-gt-r-2009-13411177?base=1216&vertical=Car&cr=3&eapi=2&__N=1246%201247%201252%201282%204294963846%204294961487%201216&num=15&silo=Stock&sort=%7ePrice I wonder how they can do this... 3 years extended on a 2009...
  3. +1 ^ this
  4. Woah, what's your limit on the car detail? eg, a detail on the coast by Driven by Shine would be $500-700 range
  5. After seeing these results, I've booked Autoglamour to come and detail + ceramic coat my new family bus that arrives 1-2nd week of Oct. Fortunately, the GT-R doesn't need any of this sort of lovin - yet
  6. I've had a good look over the net on fixes for this issue. Some say get the 2012 brake clips, others say modify the stock ones to hold the pads tighter. Is anyone aware of a Nissan fix for this issue? I was travelling thru Brisbane city on the weekend and the brake clunking was absolutely insane over every single bump, echoing very loudly between the buildings.. Effing terrible..!

    Stamp Duty

At no time will the insurance co ask for your change of ownership docs. You pay for what ever agreed value you want when you insure your toys, so write down the lowest value for the GTR as you can - $90k is very reasonable for the change of ownership forms IMO.

    Stamp Duty

I don't understand why there is stamp duty on cars after the first sale. They get a MASSIVE cut when its new, then proceed to take more off the top over the life of the vehicle - essentially double dipping the honey pot. It's therefore in our best interest to record the lowest value possible, because there is no way it would cost $7k to do the change over paperwork on a 2nd hand GT-R.. What an effing rort..

    Stamp Duty

Go market value, never actual sale price. I sold a Mazda MPS a few years back for $31k, wrote down $22k and the new owner got a way with it too easy. Probably helped that QLD transport had no idea what an MPS was at the time - just another Mazda 3 lol
  10. Bump? I have found out that the maps are Navteq, but FFS, the website is rubbish... I can't believe Nissan have no idea if there is an update..
  11. Impressive!
  12. Even Nissan can't answer my question on this one (FFS!). Does anyone have any idea where can we obtain updated Aus maps for the 2010's onwards??
  13. Please do share
  14. I saw that GTR on carsales. Good pick-up that one. enjoy it man!
  15. Its on the Willall website. check it out man
  16. Interesting....
  17. I hate the brake pad rattle, and get embarrassed when travelling thru the brisbane city and run over 10 bazzillion bumps in the road I can hear the clanging noise echo off the buildings.... farks sake..
  18. Martin, are you aware of the same bellhousing issue with the 2010's and beyond? I have the usual rattles as well, and while stationary in gear only a very very slight rattle when the car is hot, but nothing noticeable above 2000rpms. Of course in P or N after the car is stationary and hot parked in my garage after a run, the rattle is fairly noisy, but not excessive like some youtube vids. I am however hearing a very very very faint higher pitched rattle somewhere in the back while driving @ 60+ kph on fairly smooth roads though (definitely not the brake pad rattle) - not sure if this is the seat belt housing issue others have experienced, or something else under the car. The Nissan tech mentioned it at the last service and said to keep an ear on it if it gets any louder they'll investigate further. Its not loud though, and certainly hasn't increased in volume - for all I know its probably just the fly wheel and normal sounds. My GTR has also had 0 launches (that I know of ), so not currently too worried about it.
  19. ^ this
  20. Driving hard here too, up to 3000kms and very minimal wear out of the RE070A's. The stockies should last at least 10,000kms (with minimal track time)
  21. 1600kms??? WTF!

    My New R35

What do you think of the Michelin PSS wheels vs the stockies? (noise/grip/etc) I'm looking at the PSS's for my first tyre replacement just for the extreme wear rating
  23. Just wouldn't be a GT-R without the rattles
