  1. Hi! I'm having issues with my fuel pump. The pump does not prime when turning the ignition on. Pump and relay are ok. Relay harness is getting solid +12V all the time. I'm really confused with all the FPCM and ECU related stuff. How is the system designed to work? What kind of readings am i supposed to get from the ECU pin 18? Now I'm getting constant +12V when ignition is on... Only way i'm getting the pump to prime is by grounding the black/pink wire from relay to ECU pin 18. This way I can get the car started, but it dies immediately after I take the wire off from the grounding point. It is hard to try to solve this problem, because I have no idea how the system is supposed to work... Are there any relays or fuses apart from the ones in the boot that should be checked? What is there to do? Is hardwiring the pump going to be a solution? THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP! -Lars
  2. Hi all! I'm running out of spark with my RB25DET S2. I have fresh sparkplugs and the coilpacks seems externally undamaged. Anyway, now I'm planning on updating the coilpacks. There's a bunch of different kinds of aftermarket coilpacks, but are there really any difference between them except the price? Found this relatively cheap coilpack set on ebay: http://www.ebay.co.u...=item1c27d92b13 Does anyone know how this works? Any good? Many thanks on the replies! -Lars
  3. Hi! Couple weeks ago I drove my car fully functional to my garage and after that I have done few slight mods/mainentance procedures to it. And today as I started my car for the first time after I took it to my garage, it didn't work properly. The car started nicely but immediately began to misfire on idle. Engine stopped misfiring on revs, but after couple times of revving the car stalled. Still starts nicely but if I even touch the gas pedal the engine stalls. The misfiring slightly decreased after the engine warmed up. Don't know if I'm just imaging it or is it just something I haven't paid attention to before but I can hear a slight "shhhhhh" after the engine stalls. Stuff that has been done to the car after I took it to the garage: -Plugs changed to NGK BCPR6ES, earlier ones was BKR5xx. -ACC valve cleaned -Throttlebody cleaned -MAF cleaned -Boost solenoid removed -Camshaft covers painted -Boostpipes polished -Dump valve installed. Used to be just blocked with an aluminium plate -Coils taped up because high rev misfiring It's an RB25DET Spec2 Thank you for all your help!
