Fits up nice, no probs. Wastegate is nice and free now, car goes fine, seems like no damage. Battery still good. Sweet. Mild steel.. just as good, maybe better as anyone can weld it if theres any probs or mods. Depends..... if its from the same factory as my stainless split, you can chuck it in the bin now and save yourself a huge hassle. Or its a breeze when it fits like the new one, Just jap said the mild steel bellmouth is made here, and the stainless split was China.

Ahhh.... plugs, learn about plugs and what the different colours of soot mean. very important. and easy to do. Always go with NGK they are the best. Copper plugs are just as good as platinum, and 5 times cheaper. And a satin finish is easier to keep than matte, but harder to get right when spraying. A spray job like that is not usually something you pay for (because matte or satin paint is sht) just diy.

gtst or gtr? I got my old gtst one... wrapped in cheap vynil, cracked in one spot, chopped for intercooler pipes. The crack is just in front of the right edge of the left headlight. About 40mm long. Cheap.

Just like a bunch of slack ass mates who cant get up for a big ride (dirtbikes) on the weekend. I blame alchohol. Like me this weekend... ha, no i have a legit excuse.... I got no dump pipe, it didnt turn up, so i cant go. Usually Just jap deliver so quick... but sht happens. Ill just finish paving the driveway instead. Wish i was ready for hillclimbs, but thats life... (life... dont talk to me about life)

Cheap split dump jammed my wastegate, cant grind enough back to make it work. Ok.... the jjr bellmouth should be here today. Anyone want a split dump? free... ha ha ha! Theres other things i need to do but wont stop me from driving there.

7 hours and no luck... you need a break, eat & drink for brain power, do some reading on the forums, and the solution/problem will become clearer.

split dump is fouling the wastegate for some reason. dunno why... it worked fine for ages, now i cant grind enough out to make it work, ill grind through. wtf happened? dunno. Time to get a bellmouth dump, maybe all new system.

Glad i kept my oem ones in the shed. Getting a nistune and pump etc soon, we will see how it goes ay? You said the cheapos break down at high boost....If im not chasing big power will yellows be ok? Or is it time/heat that kills them?

If i can get it going by then, ill be there for sure. All i have to do is find out why my wastegate is jammed, and un jam it.

Conditioning and charging the battery, its been sitting for so long, i hope its going to hold a charge properly. Moved all the important stuff into the new garage, parts are coming, i can start serious work on the car soon. Cant wait to get it back on the road. Oh yeah Thanks Richard

Finally..... The skylines been stranded there with a jammed wastegate for about 2 months. Now i can roll it back onto level concrete and get under it. Now im not using the garden shed as a workshop ill make a Kudos order on monday to get the other bits i need. Then the fun begins. My poor old back needs a rest though.

I heard the cheap ones snap. I got some from Jap Warehouse or something, and the right is squeaking again. Thats why i changed em in the first place! Anyway, sometimes cheap is worse than stock.
