  1. Missus spotted a 4wd taking out 2 bikes parked at a red light 1 uninjured Hate 4wd wankers (not tow vehicles) Go drive of a mountain you bastards And thats why i dont ride on the road.
  2. Yes please! Have been busy with building my garage and my car is not going. i will try and get over there tomorow arvo at the time you said (missus car)... and pick up lights too.
  3. So bring the tv. Ill go if my unreliable piece of sht is going. Should be fine by then.
  4. or what i do is.... clean the back REAL good around the crack use epoxy that is specially for plastic(Autobarn/Supercheap etc) glue large strips/panels of alloy to hold it together more surface area glued means more strength (you need a lot) more clean it is the better it sticks bog crack on outside, sand, spray and fit. if you have the stuff lying around the shed, its only the glue you have to buy.
  5. Yay! garage finally arrived. I can stop looking at my dirtbox and build something on it.
  6. If i wanted more power i wouldnt have bought a Skyline. Im not a power tripper. Im actually happy with what its got now, id just like it to be solid and smooth. I just want a nice to drive car i can mess with in the shed. A bit of a toy to play with. Constantly chasing power and speed is a waste of time and money, considering one can just buy it out of the box.(GSXR1000!) Troy you know what i mean, you ride. If you dont have a goal or stopping point for the mods on the car, it gets way too expensive and pointless. ANYWAY.... im getting off subject. Reece was asking about engine builders. So no one good in Canberra? Had anyone tried or heard if these Lewis engines are any good? PS: Happy with Autotech Nik? I want a Nistune and they are the only ones in Canberra.
  7. Is it. Cheaper to change stuff i already have? Easier? i doubt it. Or just pay the shop to do it. Pity the fool with no tools.
  8. How about those guys in SA who build RBs? Lewis engines. They seem to have it sorted out, (oil control and pumps) They have a RB 2.25 that im thinking would be good for me. Does anyone know if they are any good? http://www.lewisengi...category9_1.htm
  9. Took the actuator off and found the wastegate is fouling on something, totally jammed open now. Thats obviously why it was boost surging. JJR split dump needs to go to the dump. Worst fitting thing ever!
  10. Tried to diagnose the boost surge, no luck. When it happens its surging about twice every second. I can hear it, psh-psh-psh and the EBC is beeping warning. Im getting 120 kpa, 150kpa(20 psi) the other day. Thats bad considering its a stock rb25 turbo! Its probly actuator or ebc? Take off the farty GTR bov first, go back to stock. Dunno... anyone had this before? Scared to drive it, im sure the turbo will die.
  11. I have some plumbers crack... but not much. Im too skinny to have a good crack.
  12. Hahaha...no Strangely familiar though.... Maybe he just looks like the stereotypical young Canberra IT guy. Hahahahahahahahaha! yes thats it.
  13. Weird stuff happened to some of my electrical equipment. For example my boost controller registered 150 kpa as the peak pressure, on a stock rb25 turbo? i dont think so... it still runs fine.
  14. Far out! That was full on. So elecrical, it was zapping everything over here, there were even weird small lightning ive never seen before. Was driving past the overpass from Aranda-Bruce when it got hit by 3 massive bolts, flash burn in my eyes for a minute. However the rain did a job for me and pushed all the loose gravel down the driveway into the garage foundation box, so now i dont have to. Hope everyone cars are intact, lots of trees down today.
  15. one day my engine bay will be worth cleaning One day.....
  16. Happy birthday! "The Answer" man that brings back some memories, i loved it so much when i was a kid/teenager i could quote almost the whole radio play. "Whats so bad about being drunk? Ask a glass of water" And us not being descended from apes, but actually from used car salesmen, and advertising account executives, really makes sense in a sick kind of way.
  17. Yes you gotta put an earth in the ground now, ive seen them hammer in those copper coated rods. Using the pipes for an earth is just a shortcut anyway isnt it? I dunno sht about electics, cant even spell it.
  18. Builders and developers like to make money so they go cheaper. Plumbers use what they like, Rehau or Pex etc pipe is very quick and easy to put in a new house. Oxy costs a lot to use compared to squeezing on compression fittings. And copper pipe costs more every year. And dont worry that stuff is really good quality to pass Aus plumbing standards. We have the top standard along with about 6 other countries. water is precious to us.
  19. Yes, good idea, last time i did mine one was so seized up it needed replacing, and because its old that meant get out the oxy.
  20. Discus They require constant water changes, my back cant handle lugging 200 litres in buckets up the back steps every 2 days. But they are very cool fish.
  21. For the aquariast with many tanks. A lazy water changer Ageing tank and pump Drain and refill through the manifold Connected in filter outlet line Happy fish.
  22. For my car Carhaus foundation. Soon the 32 can get the love it so desperately needs.
  23. Yes please! Ill send you my number, so you can tell me where and when.
