  1. cool, im in. sun 3:00, meet where? the friday spot maybe go from there? Weston creek maccas?
  2. so whos going up the mountains this w/end? im keen
  3. Right rear wheel punched in, probly the diff, cradle etc is rooted. Id like the bonnet.
  4. Dirtbikes on the road have little grip and are sloppy on the suspension. Dual purpose bikes are good for nothing. Roadbike for the road, dirtbike for the dirt Mistakes= blood. choose wisely Ps: i have some armour etc if you need, dont ride without it. Ive done it.... it hurts.
  5. love the big lego (thats my 32)
  6. with a pod and a 3" zorst you get about 10 psi with no boost control mods. and the computer goes full rich, i dont know how a std turbo feels cos it was on it when i bought it And ive spent a bit on bits to support it (fuel pump, injectors etc) and yet to get a nistune. they will all go in at the same time when i have everything i need. But i think its worth it cos ill only need a retune when i get a good turbo. so.... how many thousands does he want to pour into it? injectors, fuel pump, exhaust, pod and cold air box, boost control, gauges, better radiator, z32 afm, ecu upgrade and tune. thats probly minimum to support more boost properly. im doing a major service at the same time so im getting even more bits for the upgrade. after about 2 years, soon ill get there.. hopefully all done by febuary.
  7. The heater core plastic pipes old and cracked, leaking. $240 for those tiny bits of sht, so a $40 heater was my idea. If i want cold air i can wind down the windows, Ill only be racing against myself anyway.
  8. Faaark! Not allowed to go now.
  9. Ill be going about 10 ish from maccas natex.
  10. Yeah man its a full on track car now! No kidding, just a coilpack/ignition harness. Things like that are handy when you own a s-box. Can you remember what thats like? Haha ha!
  11. Got a harness from Japspec once, cheap, really good cond, sik mate. Really cheap, so thats fully sik mate
  12. So basically what all that tech talk comes down to is: Too lean= kablammo! And thats really expensive. Yeah lets get back to the problem, the noise, this dude is right check all that stuff first.
  13. Yes i know what you mean. There is a diff centre called obx which is a cheapo ebay job BUT it is sht if you just put it in. What you have to do is finish the job of making it then its as good as any. It needs machining and stuff to work properly. You may find a similar situation with the cheap turbos.
  14. It stings your knuckles. Ha Ha! No i hit a drain and decided if i dont look at my arm i wont pass out. Broke it badly at the wrist, lucky no pins or plates. Fun times, i was stupid enough to ride with a cast on after that, which landed me with a broken collarbone. I can remember flying in the air looking at my arm as i put my hand out to guide my roll over and seeing the cast, then i thought "oh sht" and pulled my arm in for a hard landing on the shoulder. A long time ago now, ive lived with it every day though (wrist is fked and collarbone is way out) its a good reminder to be smart and safe. Ha ha, my god i must have been so stupid.
  15. Yeah its crazy sometimes, you see why i dont ride on the road anymore. But if you keep an eye out for danger about to happen, and minimize risk, youll be ok. Evrey time i stacked a bike i was breaking my own safety rules, like "dont ride fast in long grass". I can remember thinking "fk it, sheel be right" Oh yeah... Good dad.
  16. I know you dont mean it but some people dont know any better. Yeah, i could... to the next set of lights or cops waiting (cant outrun radio) Or wait for them to come over to my house after they run my plate. Actually they would be waiting for me. Been young once too man, i had sportbikes, im glad too be alive. Cars are a little safer, not much. And the other side to this is if some dik risks MY life by being stupid on public roads, ill want to cut his fking fingers off. Youd feel the same. If you make a mistake, pull over, be respecful, its not as bad as you think if you do this.
  17. I have a bigger turbo and stock injectors and ecu tune. I cant turn the boost up or it starts missing. Not good for the motor. At the very least you need a retune to make it run safe. A safe tune without supporting mods is much less power than you could have. The cheap way to go fast is get a bike.
  18. Funny police. Today i was at a set of lights behind a falcon, lights changed, we moved off, then after a few hundred m the falcon changed into the left lane nearly clipping a camry. The old bloke in the camry was pissed off (obviously), and as we were driving along i noticed it was an unmarked cop car! I think he was so focused on the Skyline and seeing if i would hoon like an idiot on public roads with heaps of traffic (dude thats why i ride dirtbikes in the bush) he didnt see the camry. Anyway no damage done except to his professional pride. Ha. PS: maybe the bogan style R32 is hard for them to ignore.
  19. Yeah, for sure. Im just thinking about how many smiles there will be with all those Skylines around.
  20. Makes me wonder about how many trophys he has already.
  21. The ACT Brakes in Mitchell is well known for screwing people as they do a lot of rego inspections. Pedders Belco is another bad one, most of the transmission shops in canberra etc etc. Half the auto shops in Canberra are dodgy as. Check out who has a good reputation and avoid all others. Ps: Did you check out how much a flaring tool is? Or if one of us has one? I have pipe benders for that stuff. You got a drill and grommets....
  22. Me saturday and sunday, not friday. Maybe later friday.
  23. Ok so its all hoked up now But its not very warm. I hope its enough to do the job. Ill find out next winter. If anyone has a better way, please dont keep it a secret.
  24. Where from? Eaglehawk? Dickson maccas? or theres a naw maccas at natex. Anyway somewhere with coffee would be preferable
