  1. Ah, so my s-box is regognizable now, cool, you gotta have your own style. Didnt see you,ill wave next time. Spotted a white 34 on the federal hwy on the way home.
  2. Unless your on PS3... Man its AWESOME!!
  3. sweet looking black 33? from behind, at autobarn belco. I think maybe one of the dudes in the shop owns it.
  4. Spotted a silver 32 GTR with missing rear badge followed by a bike going down the twisty road above the cotter. GTRs really do go faster.
  5. See yous there, it been a while.
  6. Its easier to spend the money, and if you spend 3 days f-ing it up like me, its cheaper going to work and spenidng the $$$. Getting stuff that actually fits is very important. Otherwise you end up with my mess. Ps mine was real bad when i bought it, example: no reo bar. I had to make one to hold up the front bar and intercooler.
  7. Well thats gunna be easy as then. Get what you pay for hey. The in and out was mixed up on my "el cheapo" lucky i double checked the way it needed to go, or goodbye engine! The Earls is nice but bulky and takes room to fit all the hoses to it. Ps: 1/8 npt
  8. Yes but not that one. When you spin that adaptor on you dont know which way the lines will end up facing. I went with a remote thermostat, (Earls) which is a pain cos its gotta go somewhere (no space). Having the thermostat in the plate would save space. But if you hook it up wrong, no oil to motor. However the one bit i got right is the sandwich plate, it needed one 90 deg fitting and one straight to get past things. Pic one: i found this style of sandwich plate easy to fit lines to. Pic two: my mess, should re-do it better. Pic three: Aircon sux goodbye.
  9. Thats a tricky one... Hume, Fyshwick, and Mitchell are the only real industrial areas in ACT, QBN has some too There is a cool modern looking building near Narrabundah, on the other side of Hindmarsh dr, ita a cosmetics lab or something. There are some NUTS looking buildings (super modern) at ANU near the city, drive around the back theres some new ones hidden away there. In the end its your taste and imagination, so its a hard one to answer.
  10. Yeah its not over the top, so for me it looks good.
  11. spotted nice white stagea on redfern st this morning
  12. Read the tutorial (im sure theres one). Then you can get an idea if you can do it. I can lend some stuff (stands, jack). Its simple but heavy, dont know how youd break it getting it out, it will wreck things you drop it on (like your hand or foot).
  13. Cant really tell without a pic of the whole car. That zoom looks ok but cant tell if it realy looks good.
  14. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
  15. Why cant you do it, what do you need, tools or time? Its only about 12 bolts, you just need 3 extensions and a uni joint for the bellhousing.
  16. Think about why it looks good on some cars... They are muscle cars or drag cars. You need the small wheel big tyre thing going on before it looks any good. So you get that tough beefy tyre look. I dont know if 16"s would do it, would be only just if at all. Maybe jack up the back for tyre clearance and go the drag look. See this pic, tyre / wheel dimensions are right for it.
  17. Always had planes, just limited players 24 max. 12 a side.
  18. Pity im on ps3. Played this since 42 first came out cos theres no better game. Doesnt matter if u play like a noob (me) just keep shooting! the points happen if u get into the action.(need keyboard and mouse plugin box thingy) sometimes when im playing real bad i just keep charging in to battle shooting everything and it eventually works out. I think im doing so badly cos ive maxed out engineer and im using other kits to unlock stuff. When i go engineer i destroy vehicles like crazy. Best is go the jet, smash a couple of choppers, dogfight for a bit, then eject and kill tanks n stuff. Oman is the bestest map ever! Try deathracing around the map during battle if your bored.. Cant wait for armoured assault. its going to be FULLY SIK! BF rocks!
  19. There was a nice black 33 GTR with gold wheels, dunno which kind, stickers on f/r skirt? At curtin shops.
  20. Yay! finally, thanks man.
  21. Spotted a couple in a blue 33 at supercheap belco. Copped some pretty dirty looks from them, mines not good enough ay? FYToo
  22. Obvious.. tubes are stronger. Basic physics. Try laminating a tube with a different material so you get a matrix. You know.... one material for stiffness, and one for handling the torque. Like a helicopter blade. I bet F1 has this, probably since the 70's or 80's.
  23. I believe a bigger turbo and aussie weather dont help. Get a good water temp gauge and oil temp gauge and youll see whats going on Mine has a bigger turbo and was always too hot. So i removed the aircon, and added an oil cooler. The heater is going to be manual like an older car. Ive never had aircon in any other car, so no loss.
  24. So top speed is limited. Fast enough for a street car surely? Its not like id want to go 180 down a country road, i used to ride sportbikes, so im over it. If i want to put it on the track oneday, it would be Wakefield, i dont think it would get a high speed there.(rb20det) Anyway thanks guys.
  25. Ha ha.. now i have your attention.. I now have a single piece tailshaft cos the old one died. The original is two piece and i was wondering why? It would cost more to make for Nissan so there must be a good reason for doing it. Is there any disadvantage to having a 1 piece? And yes its a big fat shaft with V8 unis.
