  1. Plan to go for a drive, now that the mods are done. And carbon wrap some bits this weekend. Pics: Battery in the boot with 0 gauge cable. Made room for oil thermostat, catch can, oil filter, rad res. Cooler instead of aircon. Yes thats a tupperware power box. Untill I make one better it will do.
  2. DIY, If you want it done right, do it yourself. This is the place i put em in.. the ones on top of the dash are a practice run... i have a good dash in the shed for later. See how a pod would be nicer on the dash
  3. Sorry ..32 GTR And that price was the whole set.
  4. This is how you plumb it..
  5. It will still be here when you need it
  6. Buy my stuff! Alpine star body armour, carbon knuckle gloves, Oneal stand, big cable lock, tiedowns, clip-on goggles and a few new lenses, Acrebis racing pants & jersey, free bonus- all my spare links, chain lube, grips, indicators etc. Not an auction, first offer will sell.
  7. Cool, no worries then. Thanks guys.
  8. Surely theres hundreds of rims at wreckers around town, And theres the classifieds (allhomes is canberra times) where i see about a hundred ads right now. So im sure you will find something you like. Phone credit is what you need, then start ringing them all, youll find em cheap too, cos rims are a dime a dozen. You can even get new rims for less than $100 each.
  9. So... the cooler will stay full, and purge any air fairly soon after startup. Its an Earls oil thermostat, i thought they would be fully closed when cold. Ok i went and blew through it, like you said, not fully closed.
  10. If I install an oil cooler, thermostat, and filter relocation kit, does the oil drain back into the sump and overfill it? The cooler is below the thermostat and filter, but it might siphon and leave the oil in the sump untill it opens the oil thermostat. Im worried about the crankshaft hitting oil on startup. whats the best way to avoid this?
  11. Yeah euro 2 strokes are really good. I had a KTM 360 for ages, that thing could pull your arms off up to 120kph, more grunt than i could use with my light weight (70kg) and rear tyres were used up in about 400ks The big two strokes sound awesome with a pipe. Top handling and ergonomics too.
  12. GTSBoy you are a DIY master! Much respect.
  13. I still have nice armour and gloves, a work stand, those cool stick-on goggles with heaps of lenses, boots, tie downs, etc.... If you need it i dont use them anymore, good stuff ill sell real cheap. Ps new age 4strokes are VERY expensive to maintain. get a two banger or a normal 4stroke.
  14. The shitbox bike can be the best fun you ever had. I had as much or more fun in 2 years of shitboxing as i did in 12 years of supreme KTM. Get one for sure! Gloves and kneepads too, ha ha i remember the first time...but its so much fun you cant stop.
  15. You mean a boost tee? that goes on the blue line they are dodgey If your talking about something else i have no idea. I just read the instructions and know whats what in my engine bay.
  16. These ones The top one is the plenum to boost guage line you can tee into that. the blue one is probably the actuator line, you have to take a closer look. I did a Hks evc 4, they come with instructions anyway.
  17. Well the cotter is good, fuel up at weston, even take fuel (careful!). Go past the dam, then up the hill, then take your second or third right, Laurel camp rd is good. And your there.
  18. Do you have a bov? Do they bolt on the same as gtst?
  19. Sutton rd which is Fairburn track is a bitch cos you have to be a member. I rode the brindies for about 15 years without any legal trouble. Larbert rd near braidwood is good if you like sand. $10 or $15 to ride last time i was there. Captains flat has a track, theres one near Yass, and Kowen forest is pretty big(rego only, cops) But the best is the Brindabellas. Uriarra rd has few good spots to park, like Blue range hut or Blundells flat(my fav) Or on the Cotter rd theres Peirces creek or Murrays corner The forest goes from the cotter to tumut, its big and has lots of awesome mountains. Get a map and the only limit is your fuel range. Have fun, stay safe. Dont ride alone in the bush. Ps i sold my bike if you want my maps n stuff give us a pm
  20. Well just at a glance, compared to mine, its got a body kit thats not mentioned in the ad, Indicators on the guards, i dont have, Wheres the import plate and build plate? they should be there on the firewall but there not. so it could be really dodgy. Speedo numbers are wonky, so the k's are whatever, who knows. Another indication of lots of kay's is the seats were replaced with unworn ones, and the gearshift and handbrake boots. I bouhgt a 12 year old volvo with 200,000 kay's and the interior is like new, so.... heaps of stuff will need replacing on an old 32 How old are they now, 22 years? If theyre sht they are sht i know i got one. A bit harsh i know but be careful. Ps there all sht compared to sins 32, so he cant tell.
  21. A set of Driftworks braided lines for GTR They sent me the wrong ones, so they are for sale, not sending them back to England! I know they are GTR because they sent photos of how to fit them, to a GTR. They cost me about $200, so make an offer. Not an auction, just buy them! Front, rear, and clutch. Anyway here they are:
  22. What i mean is i have to bog, then prime paint over that. Also the paint on my spoiler is stuffed. so ill prime that too. Should i put a gloss finish over the primer paint? What i mean is does it stick best to a gloss surface?
  23. Cool thanks guys, Thanks for bothering with the detailed description, knowledge is power! Yeah ill just drive it untill its real bad, it does whine, ill try thicker oil.
