  1. The latest gadget:
  2. Spotted a Pontiac Trans Am turbo. With the biggest rear tyres ive seen on the street in ages, massive profile like drag tyres.
  3. http://www.canberratimes.com.au/act-news/two-hospitalised-following-car-crash-in-cook-20140915-10h6qu.html Eat sht and die car thief!
  4. Brand: Rays Type: Volk GTC Width: 9 Size: 17 Offset: +35 Fitment over brakes: Good Mods required to fit: Lip guards, more on the rear. Tyres: Federal RSR Front: 235/40/17 Rear: 255/40/17 See my build thread for more photos.
  5. You mean like tuning it up to the edge and drag racing? Yeah, that will give the plugs a hammering. Not an easy thing to do these days. Nice one. Gave mine a quick wash, its losing gloss in some areas, maybe its just the wax, but it will get another polish soon anyway.
  6. Because you can be busted for traces, but your not high, it doesnt stand up in court. So its a waste of time and money for everyone. People need to LISTEN to scientists. They know how sht works. If politicians listened, they would not have wasted everyones time and money on things like this. Scientists and engineers should run the country, not stupid the fks that we had to vote for. And, yes you guessed right, i failed mine! While not high, so of course im pissed off.
  7. Yay! Good stuff, get into it. Delicate fingers are better than all thumbs!
  8. Bump. One week to go.
  9. How about a pic of a distinctive part, but hide the whole car? For example, this instrument cluster is very well known: That one is easy, but you know what i mean.
  10. If you like green, try GMH Poison Ivy. I love the way it changes shade. A paint job gives you the opportunity to get all the body bits you want first, maybe a GTR style front bar would look nice. Nice front end, i notice your gaps are even. Many 32s are bashed in the front and will never look the same again. About P plates and power... well its an rb20, there is a limited amount of power, and lots of money wont make much more. An rb25 is what you need for big power, BUT the experts say the 32 GTST cant handle heaps unless there is a cage stiffening up the chassis. Which means track only car or expensive engineering/rego hassles. I have 180 kw from my rb20 and its plenty for the street, but it feels weak at Wakefield. Looks nice, good luck with it.
  11. Just noticed this is coming up very soon. Entry forms and regulations here if you want in: http://mgcccanberra.org.au/?page_id=2084
  12. Well i spose its time to get into something else like the interior, its pretty shagged. Some led lights, cheap and easy: The boot, i just plugged the green and earth into the light socket. I will use the rest in the cabin with the controller and maybe a bit of a work light under the bonnett.
  13. Yes, somewhere in the scrapyard behind the shed. Because it was on my shtbox originally i dont actually know if its a 32 one. My car had a few many bad bits.
  14. Loveley suspension in the Forester. Very nice. Seats, and everything are good, cant compare to the old commercial vehicle Navara. Im sure he will love it, they have nice 4wd handling too. Turbo? Dont get anything with rose joints, stick with proper ball joints and bushes. Firstly the rubber boots dont last because its the wrong shape/design, boots get too stretched and twisted. Secondly the joints wear out very quickly. So you end up having to re buy those bits in 6 months, (this time the good expensive ones) and its a terrible waste of cash. I have had: Driftworks, Just Jap, and Hardrace rose joints sht themselves. Good thing about Hardrace is they have the option: bush or rose. Driftworks do a nice Hicas lock, yet their castor rod braces are total crap. Nice work btw......
  15. Doing this for more power handling ? Thats so cool how sht lines up....Jap cars are like lego cars. I need to do something about rear traction, i gave it a little squirt and got fully sideways today... not what i want. Especially on the road with traffic and gutters and things to smash into. Must try a softer spring setting in the back, and my rear alignment settings might be wrong.
  16. Leaky tank. They had a problem at our local BP with the premium tank leaking, probably because they dug a huge hole next door and built apartments. They cant dig it up for a while yet, so no premium is available at Jamison BP When theres dirt and water in the fuel, its not worth going back unless they dig it up and fix it. Jeremy: i have no acl in my right knee since i was 16. Trying to do motocross on a bmx. There are many things i cannot do (footy etc) because of it, take care of it man.
  17. I have a dairy addiction.
  18. I have them and a pump in my old rb20 in the 32. They seem fine, im running an rb25 turbo at 14psi and Nistune as well. 182.8 kw safe (a little rich) tune. The best thing about them is the ease of install, they just go in like Nissan parts, no fking around. You wont need to worry about correct resistance like if you get gtr injectors. You get a test flow chart and spec sheet for your tuner. So... cheap, maybe crap quality like others have said, but ok for small goals, and very easy to install. It all comes down to the old questions of your goals and budget.
  19. spotted: Silver 33 gtr cruising past my house, as i was leaving, and at the lights on the way to belco. Black deep dish wheels, seen it around the area, needs a wash.
  20. still no photo uploading......
  21. Radio silence.... suddenly all tv and radio went silent............... Solar storm? No pics
  22. The Car Care Products one is $100 but it is very nice. Also the proper foam solution is effective but also expensive. it makes a thick foam that sticks to the car, and if you leave it for 5-15 minutes (depending on the instructions) it rinses off nice and clean. Basically its good for washing a car thats not very dirty, and you wont have to worry about grit scratching the paint. Using a cheap foamer and detergent is only going to soap up the car so you can rub it with your sponge. Its kind of a shortcut, you just need a rinse bucket for the sponge, scrub and rinse, etc. I think if you have nice paint that you always keep clean, it will be worth getting the good gear.
  23. Legnum... whoops i thought it was another 34. Looks nice. Gotta pull my fuel tank out again, fumes in the cabin. Ive fked with this a couple of times now, im going to seal up the whole rear end with foam and silicon. And put an extraction fan in the parcel shelf. And the tank will get re- sealed and new hoses. Again. If that doesnt fix it ill have to take it to Trojan or something for help.
  24. Good stuff mate. Theres a shop in Fyshwick across from Ali Baba. They have some real nice car seats. Skylines are really sht in a crash, get the best/safest seat you can. Its nice to see your missus has the nous to drive a Skyline, i had to get a Volvo for mine, to be safe. Mine is 3 and i cant get my 32 out without him, or he cracks a sht. And he loves the boost. Ps: Do all your maintenance now, there will be no time later........
