Get a dump that fits properly, I got a cheap one that required heaps of modifying to fit and it ended up costing as much as a good one, And i spent heaps of time on it. Make sure if you get a split dump, the small pipe clears everything, O2 sensor in the right spot. the clearance under the floor, mine was too short. What a nightmare.

Hmmm.... After reading that id say the ECU is the problem. With all the upgrades it needs tuning. Well thats next on my list anyway, im just trying to get as much sorted out as i can before i get the ECU and tune. So i might let the mechanic sort this one out.

Aac valve clean? Block off cold start valve. Does it idle normally if you switch it off for a second then start it again? Mine does that. Blocking the cold start valve helped but didnt fix come to think of it... it started on mine after i installed the boost controller. I got the HKS evc4, what one do you have? Maybe we should unhook the boost controllers and see.

Theres some good fault lines next to lake george, those super steep hills. If you look at the map they are the major ones in this area, but are mere wrinkles compared to plate boundaries. Thats right its 2012! OH MY GOD!

I got some cheap adjustable cam gears. I was reading about cam belts and now im worried about the quality of the gears cos if they fail...$$$$$$ Anyway if anyones got experience with them, please tell me about it. These ones i got This worries me Cos ive got the RB20DET

Your gunna have to make brackets to mount it, get your cooler and have a look around for a good spot. People put them in all kinds of places, try google images for examples. In the end your gunna have to use your brain or pay someone to do it. Ps Canberra gets cold, im using a thermostat.

Now im scared to fit my cheap timing gears, anyone know if they can be dodgy?

Lucky we have crank oil and a cooling system. My old two stroke bike leaned out on one of the two cylinders; about 1.5 seconds later, BANG! rattle rattle.... Molten crank bearing metal blobs stuck to the spark plug. Dead bike. Old bike. No parts available. 20 seconds is an eternity to realize theres a problem and do something about it. Dont we have gauges for this kind of thing? If you had an air fuel gauge youd know.

Bleed hole on inlet plenum, 10mm spanner. Have the car facing uphill and open (release pressure first!) Bubbles of air trapped in the head come out, top up from the radiator and see the coolant come out of the hole, plug it back up, run the motor for a minute or two, Repeat untill all air is gone. Ps. buy good tools, they are good as gold and will last decades, i have some of my grandfathers tools, spanners in the 50'S were made of good steel. Dont buy shit tools, they will strip bolts and bust your knuckles and you will wish you had just borrowed dads sidchrome set.

Its still playing up! dagnabbit. On a cold start it idles at 1100 then over a minute it climbs to 1900 then drops suddenly back to 1100. If i restart it idles at 850. thats bad for a cold engine, i can hear funny noises when i switch off to restart. Any ideas? im stumped.

Timeline idea is cool, I want a pic of a 32, others want there own cars too, timeline will please all.

one more thing, waterless coolant is zero pressure. hoses cant burst, no pressure.
