Hello. Im in urgent need of help. I have had an 040 fuel pump installed in my R31 with 32 engine by my mate who owns a workshop here.He had an electrician come out and wire it up.It turned on and ran fine then stopped working.Tried it again and worked fine again so I picked it up.Driving it again today for a few hours then it stopped again. The electrician said might need a bigger return line installed?? Has anyone had a problem like this or know what problems might be? Please let me know.

Super Cheap Auto have them $80. All RB engines use the same pump.IE RB30 Pump bolts to any RB engine. I just want to use a larger pulley to slow it down so it wont cavitate up around 7-8000 revs.

Yeah it makes sense. So can anyone tell me where to get a larger pulley from? Maybe another make of car uses a larger pulley but with same pattern??

So if N1 Pumps are no good in street driven cars is this because they are prone to low revs cavitation?I was under the impression that they were made especially to not cavitate??? Does anyone else know of a larger pulley to put on the stock water pump to slow it down. If anyone knows of what to use and where to get it from can they let me know.

Yeah I have tried that out.And yes it does boost above 5 psi hit about 15psi be4 backing off.

Why would the plugs work before on 10-14psi with old turbo but not on a diff one as in my case??Also have iridiums.

Yeah i know what im doing just had to compensate by the fact there is no nipple on the comp housing on the 25's. Im assuming at this stage it is the Bleed valve just waiting to test another one.

I have used all new hosing. I wanted to keep the 25 actuator so that it could run low boost. Yeps well ill try it without the bleed valve and see if it still holds boost.

Just need a hand with this situation. Put a 25 turbo on my RB20. I have put a hose from wastegate to the manifold and t'd in a GFB bleed valve. The turbo is running sweet and at 5psi. When i try to wind the bleed valve up it is having no affect.I have double checked and it is facing the right way (arrows to the wastegate) but yeah no increase. Is this stuffed controller or will it have something to do with the setup for wastegate.
