Dude, I had this same issue and still haven't had it solved to this day, Its really annoying and really dangerous especially in heavy traffic when the car stalls randomly. The best things I have been able to come up with where some kind of ground wire that was earthing out possibly, I also once gave my ECU a shake and it caused it to stall, but then it all of sudden stopped for 3 months, I took mine to auto electrician who didn't plug it in to check fault codes because for some reason he thought not too, i would recommend getting that done.. Good luck if you find a fix definitely let me know if you do, its been annoying me for so long.

Hi everybody just want a bit of info, my 97 R33 Gtst feels like its running on 5 cylinders every time I boost my car to about 5,000 revs. You can then leave the car turned off for a while and the car goes back to normal as long as you don't boost it to hard. Don't know where to start other then looking at the plugs or The coil packs, has anyone else had a similar problem to this and what where the remedies????

Hey guys, I have a R33 Gtst series 2 pretty much stock that has stalling issues, to be precise when the car hits a small bump it intermittently stalls or looses power like its going to but if you give it a quick rev will pick back up and keep running. Sometimes when hitting a bump larger then normal it will stall and wont start for a matter of minutes and then will display the airbag light for about 10 mins after the car has come good. I'm trying to see if anyone has had a similar problem or the same as auto electrician couldn't do anything about it. I assumed it was an electrical problem as the car can suddenly stall at any time and it seemed like a ground or faulty wire. Would I be right to get it put on the diagnostics and see if the computer spits and errors to at least narrow the problem down? cheers

I have the exact same problem with my r33 Gtst s2, But my car stalls every time I hit a small bump. Sometimes when I hit a big enough bump it stalls won't start for a couple of seconds and then will. For some reason the airbag light stays on for about 15 mins, had an auto electrician look at it he had no luck all electrical seemed alright, he did mention something about immobiliser if you have one but I had it removed and that didn't do a thing. I could only assume electrical would be the problem do you think putting on diagnostics would display some kind of error message or have you had this done?
