engine winds over but will not start. Lol diesel. Actually the engine light problem came on 5 hours after i bought the car which is over 2 years ago and comes and goes here and there. When i did get the nistune toshi told me i had a faulty speedo sensor and my 02 sensor was basically dead. Apart from that the car has never given me any issues. oh and yes red lights on acc fuel pump primes on ign, starter motor clicks when trying to start

lol, we tried a new battery and same thing still wouldnt start. Now we are looking for a auto electrician to look over the car but as soon as people hear that its a stagea nobody wants a piece of it. Anyone know of a mobile auto electrician based in sydney that knows a thing about stageas?

My mechanic has told me it was the CAS, will find out tomorrow for sure. It wasnt the battery because it just died while i was driving, i wasnt parked. i did check the connection for the battery and no issue

yeah its not the battery as all dash lights are on it just wont turn over. Will check the ignition and main fuses cheers

hey guys, was driving the stag yesterday and the motor just died so i pulled over and attempted to start the car again but no love. I know its not the battery as all lights are on and car just wont crank over. Could the coils have lost their spark or it couldnt happen to all of them all at once? If its the crank angle sensor what symptoms are shown? Car is a c34 auto with nistune, ss2 turbo and other basic mods. Engine light was showing but always comes on when its hot or at night but speedo also dies after a while its left in drive. When that happens i chuck it in tip tronic and the light disappears and speedo comes back on. What other gremlins may have caused this?

Same seen it a few times on the hume hwy heading past bankstown, both of us were giving lil squirts sounds good

my stagea started doing that when we removed the battery while waiting for new turbo to arrive. A week later once new turbo was installed driving to get nistune and on the way it just stopped, no acceleration and unable to steer. Has only now happened for a couple of days but since then has not come back. This issue happened with stock computer and with new computer with nistune board.

my drivers side was window was doing the same thing and eventually the motor died. Does the window ever go up slow?

Toshi spent all day on my car also and i do have a fmic as well, only thing missing is injectors and dump and pipe to cat. Personally no complaints from the car it is heaps more responsive and really gets up and moves doesnt feel so heavy anymore lol. Tuner done really good work cars spinning the front wheels and yes i have good new tyres.

Thats what i mean u have 260awkw with basically same mods i have and i made at dart auto 180awkw, 520nm of torque at 15psi and i have hypergear ss2 turbo, z32,intake, nistune, cat back exhaust stock injectors usual business. As i said car pulls much harder then when i had high flowed turbo and tuner and my mechanic said car is running fine and making good power. Only need to change o2 sensor. Maybe certain dynos have quite a variance in the readings. If standard power is 110awkw then im quite happy with 180awkw

ive been searching the forums and havent come with an answer how much awkw does a stock rs4 stagea make? ive been told 110awkw im intrigued as i see a lot of people with big power and am wondering if this rwkw or at all 4s because huge power increase if its from 110 to 260 with minimal upgrades on 98 pump fuel and when i say minimum i mean stock bottom ends and bolt ons especially high flows. i just upgraded the turbo and nistune and on the rd it pulls hard strong midrange, heaps responsive but on the dyno it produced an average figure but strong torque which i cant complain about.

i got this issue with my series 2 stagea, would the electric motor on the stagea be the same as the skyline? Havent got it tested yet but im assuming the motor died cause the window would go up slower and slower and one day nothing. Passenger side the switch only works from the drivers side

Checked the radiator this morning and it was bone dry so i think i split a hose again somewhere near the back of the engine

hey i got a r31 with a rb26 motor and a rb25 gearbox. After driving today in the heat for more then an hour and only really giving it a hit twice i got home parked the car and came back out and the gearbox was pissing out liquid, is my box gone? Could it be something smaller? Liquid was seeping from the front of the box The only thing i noticed when driving in hot weather is that when accelerating between gear changes the car sounds like a vacuum cleaner.
