  3. Hey guys, For sale is a HKS SSQV BOV that came with my car. I have not tested the valve but looks to be in good condition. It appears to be a genuine item (it has got HKS stamped on the casting). I'm selling because its a little to sicka for me and the standard one suits me just fine. $50 plus postage, or make a offer. Pick up available. Cheers guys Tonksy
  4. Mate probably a stupid question, but would the plenum fit my R34 NEO? Cheers
  5. How'd you hook it up mate? I've heard of people using the cigarette lighter to cut into but I only want my gauges to light up when the lights are turned on. When I pulled off the steering wheel trim to take a look at the wiring I had no idea what I was looking at lol
  6. I'm with you there mate, but I'm not sure how accurate the standard sensors are? I know Nismo use to make replacement gauges that just pluged straight in, maybe you could find a set of those?... The boost gauge was piss easy, I just put the T piece on the vacume hose between the BOV and the intake plenum. The Oil pressure and Oil temp should be easy enough using a sandwich plate. A mate of mine is a auto electrician so I'll get him to hook up the wiring and volt gauge.
  7. Mate it was very simple to do. All you need to do is remove the stock gauges (which is a single unit) and mount the new ones in its place. The ones I got are 52mm and fit in really easily behind the stock plastic window. All I needed to use was a very small amount of 3M double sided tape to keep them in place. It was my first attempt and only took me around 1/2 hr to complete (not hooked up yet tho). The boost gauge mount is off Ebay, $65 from WA.
  8. Hey guys, I fitted some new gauges into my R34. What does everyone think?
  9. Yeah mate moved on from the Falcooooons.... And I'm glad I did. Skylines have a more sophisticated feel about them, they ride much better the our aussie made cars. The German made XR5 was great fun tho! Can't wait to get some more power out of the Skyline tho!!
  10. Hey guys n' girls, Just wondering if anyone has used Maxspeedingrods coilovers on their cars and what they are like? They look like an affordable option for my R34 GTT but like anything, you get what you pay for. Any feedback or comments would be appreciated. Cheers, Tonksy
  11. Hey guys and girls, Picked up my first Skyline last week (R34 GTT) and loving it. So far it has a 3inch turbo back exhaust Cooling Pro FMIC GReddy boost controller Apexi Power FC Top Secret bodykit ROH 18" mags And some aftermarket gauges which I haven't hooked up yet. The rest is standard and the first things I will be doing is upgrading the suspension and braking. Once that is sorted out I will be chasing more power (needs more power!!!) Just for some history my previous cars where: Mitsubishi Triton GLX-R 2011 Ford XR5 Turbo 2010 Ford BA XR6 Turbo Holden VU ute (v6) Daewoo Nubira Ford XC ute Hyundai excel I also ride bikes. I currently ride a 2010 TM EN300 2-stroke. Cheers, Tonksy
