So having a slight change of heart, just going to put in the injectors and high flow the turbo, and have it all tuned for now.
Anyway - Recently pulled the front mount off and had 2 bungs welded in either side by TAS weld in moolap, did a fantastic job with some thick pipe and tapered thread, this was for the temp sensors that went it either side to show efficiency of the intercooler while driving.
Also drilled and tapped into the gearbox for oil temps in there.
I removed the custom dash piece surrounding the stereo and fixed a big nasty crack in it that happened after the sun got to it, and then moulded 2 gauge holders to the top of it, came out looking amazing, and hasn't cracked in the sun so far
then put back together
After it all went back together went on a big cruise around to Sorrento with the FWY group, noticed the intercooler would reduce temps by around 10 degrees on highway driving, and anyway between 10 and 20 on and off boost. As soon as it started to rain, temps drops drastically, so I'm going to plan a water spray system to either come on at a certain PSI, temp, or just with a push button, or perhaps incorporate all 3?
Thats it for now, this week I'm preparing the 34 for Motorkhana, just sorting out fire extinguisher brackets and stuff like this, should be fun, hope to have pics and videos of it.

answer is - you won't be better off, you may de-crease fuel consumption slightly.
Best thing to do is leave them alone, your money can be better spent in other places on the car to make it go faster.

The day was fantastic, well worth the drive from Geelong, what an eye opener it was, good to get an insight before completely jumping into the deep end, hope to be entered in round 3. I got some photos, nothing fancy just lots of skyrice

not sure what race's you've been to but the only cool down time is when your off the track completely, and yes installing the probes will be your biggest concern, once you get your head around all the fittings and npt vs bsb threads you'll nut it out quickly, also my local auto pro help's me with various fittings and adapters, so keep that in mind when something doesn't fit, and sometimes you'll just need someone to weld in a bung for your sensors.
Cheers.

do love the defi's too expensive for me though.
I got race tech gauges, does the job for street abuse.
they are the 60mm 3 in one gauges
1st gauge EGT, fuel pressure, Water temp (top of rad)
2nd gauge Oil press & temp and water temp (bottom of rad)
3rd AFR
EBC shows me boost.
you take your eyes of the road when on track, maybe at best you look down at the dash... rarely...

strengthening the head gasket to prevent it failing under high boost?\
its been recommended to me, also isn't 1.5mm thinner than the standard? so it should increase compression?
add ARP studs to the list then.... what a money pit this will be...

Just realised I have stock r33 gtst s2 injectors for sale if you want, but honestly you shouldn't need to replace the ones you have unless yours are stuffed.
