Hey I know this was a long time ago. But bwrgtr did the 30mm one fit well? Also how thick was it? I found another one on rhdjapan moonface brand which is a different product code OWC030 which is 30mm for a glass thickness of around 3-4mm. Have seen east bear products on rhdjapan for a aftermarket r32 front lip. http://www.rhdjapan.com/east-bear-front-grille-unpainted-nissan-skyline-gt-r-bnr32.html Seems they use "ABS" material which is a tough polymer or plastic which I suppose it's better than fibreglass which tends to be lighter but not as durable.
