The 2 Days of Thunder at Queensland Raceway will feature Historic Touring Cars, big American V8's, Trans-Am Race cars as well as the roar of V8 Muscle Cars. With track highlights including Black Trucks/Tranzmile Historic Group N, Cobra & GT40's, there will be plenty to get your pulse racing. And the fun doesn't stop there... Friday Night Drift Practice is a great social night as we run 2 drift circuits simultaneously as well as the skid pan in the front car park. The night is STRICTLY limited to 100 drivers so entry is on a first-in, best dressed basis. The format of the day will include 4 x 5 lap sprint sessions in the morning, followed by 2 x 5 lap races in the afternoon. Groups will be decided by lap times, vehicle and experience, with the race groups in the afternoon decided on lap times from the morning sprints. When: Saturday 2nd March Where: Queensland Raceway, Willowbank The cost of the day is $195, plus track licence which is $20 for the day or $55 for 12 months. Standard, street registered vehicles are welcome and apparel required is ankle to wrist clothing, closed in shoes and Australian Standard helmet. Hi Guys, Just wanted to let you all know about the new format for the Midweek Sprints at Queensland Raceway for 2013! We will be running the event of an evening, to give those of you who work during the week an opportunity to still get out here and have a go in the Midweek Sprint sessions! Cost and format will still be exactly the same as the normal Midweek Sprints; only extra requirement is that all headlights and tail lights must be in working order. Cost for the event is $135 plus track licence; which is $20 for the day or $55 for 12 months. Clothing must be ankle to wrist, with closed in shoes and Australian Standard helmet as a minimum. Hi Brad, QR Track Licence covers you for all events at Queensland Raceway and Lakeside Park. The Clubman licence covers all Drift events, Sprint Days and General Practice Sessions...and the National Licence covers race meetings.
