  1. Nice work Sciby. I might have to clean mine out I think.
  2. Also, I've just got to say Hills are awesome. They really give you the full service. Thanks for recommending them so often, Christian. I wouldn't have gone there if you hadn't posted about them so often on this board.
  3. Thanks guys, I went in to UAS today and handed over the wrong part and they're going to send me the right one tomorrow. (Totally OT, but I just have to tell you all) I was also at Hills today and got my car tuned. When I turned up the car had 119rwkw, which is absolutely terrible. The problem was that the adjustable cam timing was disconnected, so it was good down low, but shocking up top. Hooking this back up pushed it up to around 160rwkw with the cam gear set at -2 degs retarded. After the Super AFC was tuned I ended up with 177rwkw. I'll post the dyno sheet up if anyone's interested. The cam gear makes it interesting actually. There's a slight dip in the power curve.
  4. Hmm, I might have to check this out.
  5. I got a fibreglass one as I am a cheap arse Thanks for the offer, but I'm sure you'd want the airbox more than me. I don't mind waiting for another fibreglass one. I mean I've had this fibreglass one for a couple of weeks now and still haven't fitted it. Cheers, Mick
  6. Hey Nick, I just tried to PM you, but your inbox is full. If you could find out for me whether or not I got the right box, that would be great. I'll be at Hills on Monday, which I think is in the same suburb (I'm not from Sydney, so I'm not too sure though), so I could possibly get it swapped for the intercooler version. Cheers, Mick
  7. I'm quite interested too as the way I see it, the partition is useless as the hot air will flow straight back in. I might have to glue a piece of metal on it. I'm not impressed though.
  8. Hi all, A few weeks back now I bought the cold air box from UAS as I really cbf making one up. The page said to specify whether or not you have a front mount (which I do, and I did specify it on my order form) and I thought it would be to remove the hole for the intercooler pipe that is now rerouted in front of the engine. Now I haven't put the partition in yet, but there's a big hole where I think the old pipe was supposed to go. Have I been sent the wrong one? There is a picture of the box on UAS site here - mine is identical to this but with an elongated hole in the top middle: http://202.139.242.57/Images%202/Skyline%2...20air%20box.jpg I'm also getting my car tuned at Hills on Monday and I was wondering if I should just put the partition in and leave the top cover off as the bonnet will be up. Any thoughts? Cheers, Michael
  9. Are you sure it's a Series 1 / Series 2 change? I always thought the R32 had mechanical, and the R33 was electrical.
  10. NF, Yeah the thread I posted didn't really say anything definite, and a lot of crap was posted, but I just thought I'd post it to show dynos read a little differently around the world. I also reckon the real power figures are in the quarter times. As long as the driving is consistent. Cheers, Michael
  11. Have a read of this Nismo Freak. http://www.supraforums.com/showthread.php?...?threadid=83577
  12. Nismo_Freak: I've noticed that a lot of Americans quote incredibly high power figures at the wheels. I think it's just the dynos our two countries use. Our dynos (Dyno Dynamics?) generally show 70-75% of the fly wheel figures, whereas yours are a hell of a lot higher. I was checking out the Supraforums and they all quote unbelievable figures if they were on our local dynos. Cheers, Michael
  13. 10psi should be fine with those mods. I, personally, wouldn't go over that without a FMIC.
  14. BTW there's a little plate in your engine bay with the colour code written on it. It's all in Japanese except for the colour code and a few other bits. The way I worked my colour out was to try ordering paint with all the combination of English letters that I could find. One of them matched (AN0), so that was the paint I got.
  15. R32 Colours KG1 Light grey TG0 Dark grey TH1 Dark blue BJ0 Light blue AH3 Red KH6 Cream 326 White 732 Black R33 Colours 1N4 Light grey/silver 1N3 Dark Blue AN0 Burgundy KH3 Black QM1 White KH2 Dark Grey DN0 Aqua Blue BN6 Awesome blue Found this on my hard drive somewhere. I take no responsibility if your car ends up getting painted pansy pink or anything though. The rest of the colours are there just in case someone else wants them. Cheers, Michael
  16. Cool. What sort of times were you aiming for? Were there any other good runs on the day (from yourself or other people)? I haven't gone to the track yet, but I'm certainly keen to do it. I'm sure I'll be getting >1 second reaction times, 60' in the 3 second area and high 16s for the 1/4 - and mines even turbo'd Cheers, Michael
  17. I'm actually not sure what it's called, to be honest. It's the one that joins to the firewall. Does that help? Probably not
  18. My one and only bump
  19. Were those mods you listed on your KA24DE?
  20. Ahhh, that'd be a very nice engine. Probably works out a hell of a lot cheaper than a GTR and you get most of the grunt anyway.
  21. Out of curiousity, what car is a 4WD RB25DET NEO from? The R34 GT4 (or whatever it is called) is NA right?
  22. OK, well I had to get my HKS cam gear installed by my mechanic, so I got him to have a look at it while it was in there. It turns out my bleeder is screwed. I don't think I did this, as I think it's a bit hard to do that. Anyway, I'm sitting happily at 0.9bar with a replacement GFB bleeder. The acceleration is awesome now - I can't wait to get my cam gear and SAFC tuned. I also experience the R33 flat spot that everyone talks about too. While I'm still accelerating heaps, the stall in the acceleration is quite noticeable, and does take a bit of the fun out of it. Cheers, Michael
  23. Yeah me too. Series 1 headlights look heaps better to me. They give you the GTR look with the right kit. Try the polish first to see how they look. It might save you a lot of money.
  24. Just get that WRX you were looking at. It had a brand new Gbox, so there is no reason not to. Even if it is only for the exhaust noise.
  25. Hi all, I blew my air conditioner pipe a while back, and now that it's Summer almost, I've realised I need it. Has anyone got one? Cheers, Michael
