  1. Dammit..................Why do we have to work.............................Everything should be free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. Really? I stand corrected!! Will have to look one up.
  3. Yes they do, as mine has two of them, like I said, RARE. I was looking at the M35 aswell, till I found out they are only autos. My missus didn't like them, until she found out they only came in auto (she can't drive a manual).....
  4. ^+1. Stageas Are awesome! Buying one that's already lightly modified is good, BUT, if you get any modified car, how do you know what's been done to it for sure? Personaly, for imports, I've always hunted around & found a clean un-modified example fresh off the boat. Took me 7 months to find my RS4S (manual version), genuine low km @ 67,000km, (auction & import papers supplied - rated at 4.5, as no accident damage & not a single dent anywhere!) + afew RARE bits thrown in to boot! I'm pedantic though............GET A STAGEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Hey Nick, that was me, Was down for 2 days visiting my oldies. Thought I'd haunt my old stomping grounds! Would have definitely been in for a meet up on Friday night, but had to get back the Sydney. Next time.......
  6. Count me in, as long as work doesn't screw it up! Don't care where it starts or finishes, I'll go anywhere for a spirited drive with other wagonists!!!!!!
  7. Yeah Nick, he's on here. Think he works at the 4WD joint there. Also spotted A nice lowered S1 Autech parked at O'Briens on Powers everyday!
  8. Stealth car? pffftt! People look in their mirrors & think it's a camry behind them!
  9. Hey Sleek, no probs, only just saw you! S1 is lookin good.
  10. As a suggestion, do this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/266512-reading-nissan-fault-codes-ecu-fault-codes-how-read-them/ Have pen & paper ready. It should give you an indication as to what could be at fault. Clear the codes & see what happens. Sometimes, if there is a minor hiccup (e.g. slightly ill fitting harness plug) in a system somewhere, it logs a code. Even if the hiccup disappears, the code is still logged, so it can bring the light on & depending on how bad the ECU thinks the issue is, go into limp mode, like what's happening to you.
  11. A BIG THANKYOU to Luke & Kat for co-ordinating at each end for a terrific day! We had a blast! Great to get out & meet new people, enjoy brilliant weather (dunno wtf happened - Goulburn is usually cold & rainy) & head over to the track! LOVED the MGBV8!!!! Hope there is more in the future, & all my family can get along next time. Maybe catch up again for Texi on the 30th.....................
  12. walkie talkies?
  13. That would be the Shell/Maccas one at Bundanoon. Just loading the wagon up, then on my way.
  14. In the carpark opposite the ovals.
  15. Charlie, sorry, but I'm not confused. Check PM soon. There are POSSIBLY (read iwanta34gtr's post) 20+ cars on the night. Being on private property with walk in access to a workshop, any hassles should be sorted fairly quickly, & there is more than 1 way in & out of there..........
  16. Funny that Charlie, as that was your solution for everyone to meet up before hand for the Mega Meet! Shame turning up in group, chances were slim, as there are two sets of lights (one major) & a round-a-bout to contend with! Sorry Steve for hi-Jacking the thread on that note........
  17. Why not have lunch in Beautiful Goulburn? More than welcome for the run to Sydney Shell, buuuut, you might have to cover the rear in case of bushpigs! LOL
  18. I hate to bust bubbles, but..... Unfortunately, most low lives now steal cars to export o/s. Why do you think no parts turn up for sale in the usual places,or empty/burnt out shells of stolen HiPo Jap cars are never found? Whether they dismantle afew, say, 10 makes of cars into 5 different containers & mix everything up, Oz export don't usually worry too much about the origins of the parts (they aren't going to extensively research every carparts history for export, just like they don't do for import). They aren't too concerned about whether stolen parts are involved or not. The Middle East is a haven for Jap stuff at a higher profit than here...........
  19. Hey Nick, are StagIan or DaveM35 coming? This is in their backyard. Passed Dave yesterday....usual beeps 'n waves.....
  20. I know you live close to the meet point Nick, just trying to look out for the Execs, Sir..........
  21. I ah, *AHEM* hate missing stuff, but yor PFC might be causing you issues. My first question is, who tuned your car at Insight? POSSIBLY, there could be timing issues that could hamper the operation of the VCT or manifold operation? Please, anyone, correct me if I'm wrong! How many km has your engine done? When was the timing belt changed, was it correctly fitted (as to cancel out a mismatch between crank & 120 degree reference 1 & 2 - 1 tooth advanced could make a difference!)?
  22. Must be Can-berra day. Another day for residents/pollies to prep & par-take in the 3 P's........
