hmm the ecu smells burnt....

the car runs different aswell, like a loss of power?

so i was driving the other day, and the car just turned off completely out of nowhere, i checked all the normal things like spark and fuel level and all was fine...then i thought it could be a blown fuse so i had a look, surely enough it was the "engine control" fuse, i replaced it, and it blew again in 5 minutes and the car turned right off again. i replaced it again and it hasnt done it till today again...just then i was driving home and the car turned off whilst i was going up a hill fml can anoyone help me with what this could be? heres a photo of what keeps blowing

god im good i found the problem! lol...engine control fuse was blown, changed it over and it starts straight away....now i need to find what done it

checking that now as much as i can...cant do much while on side of the road...

its got half a tank of fuel...

turned the car on just then, reversed out of my parking spot and started driving, got 50 meters down the road and the car turned off, the HICAS light came on and power steering went so i had to roll into a parking spot, i turned the key to start it again and it turns and tries to start but dosent go....HELP!!!

Yeah I was thinking that. So basically I can put it right on, and it can only take 10-12psi max? For now I can't afford a tune and I just want to swap it right over and go for now..until later

ive enquired about a turbo for sale on here, and maybe picking it up next weekend. its a r34gtt turbo the op6 rear housing one, i heard its a stright bolt on swap. is that good to use? no detonation? can i just fit it and get no tune? will it run on stock boost from this turbo?

He said there's either bush wear or something else I can't remember, it makes noise you can hear it...i can hear it too. I'm very happy with what it made on the dyno tho haha

hey guys, got the car back from the tuner the other day, he said the stock turbo has about 15,000 klms left on it depending how i drive it. i am looking at just replacing it with a factory one again BUT i was wondering: is there a DIRECT REPLACMENT bolt on turbo aftermarket? not a nissan one? to potentially get more power later on?

will it be a direct swap for a stock turbo on rb25? pm me if so

^^ good job mate. my problem is fixed too. coil pack #6 was missfiring. and the ecu wasnt grounding properly apparently. got a blitz dump pipe fitted aswell while it was there. made 145rwkw in 3rd. not bad for a stockie

yeah well these guys do skylines day in day out so they know whats going on, and he said garunteed they will find the cause and the computer can be read by them obviously so enough stuffing around with it ill get it looked at properly haha

i bought the car like that, and the previous owner just changed it in the service, problem is whoever done it didnt know what they were doing as they were a genral mechanic, not a nissan mechanic specifically...it has to be that. its getting put on the dyno tomorrow, air/fuel ratios and boost are being checked and they will find out whats going on

the timing isnt right, its going to ART tuning and performance tomorrow and theyre gonna fix it

think i found my problem. my timing belt it out a tooth or two
