hey guys, i changed the oil in my r33 gts-t today, i used Motul 10w-40 Technosynthese as i was instructed to do so by the guy who has a 180sx at autobarn today. 10w-40 seems to be the right content as ive doen my homwork on the net and people say the same thing. So i changed it no worries, and the filter, and now the eninge makes a ticking noise??? is this normal? didnt happen before this, and if it did no where near as loud...can someone help?

my cluster has engine temp, oil pressure, tacho and speedo thats it. the ggauge i bought has psi/vaccum level and it says 7 on there

i manually fitted a boost gauge so i could see what boost i was running, i achieved 7 by doin the high boost mod form the to do section on here, and that made it 7 psi, i thought that could have been the problem so i reversed what i did today ,and it still does the same

i dont have a stock gauge, ive got a gtr cluster

boost gauge goes to 7 psi max. dont go over that. holds boost too...

ive got a exhaust thats it, plus the coil packs. the spark plugs are brand new, gapped to 0.8mm

but my car is stock? no mods besides coilpacks?

ive had it with this misfiring crap pisses me off lol....i hate yellow jackets i reckon its them

basically im just wanting to replace the standard r33 one in there now, wind the boost up a little and ill be happy if i got 200rwkw. ive dot 3-4 supporting mods aswell so at the end of the day i want to get it tuned with all this stuff so im utilizing it correctly

thanks for being supportive guys, i wont lie ive come from a holden background so i know nothing about jap imports whatsoever.....to be honest these t28s i just bought are for the holden, and the ones i have here i was going to put on i am now using 1 and putting it on the rb25....ill try and search for what i want from now on sargeRX8, bit i couldnt exactly find what i was looking for in plain wording so thats why i posted here.

Wow that's a lot of psi. And what about the rb25 what boost can I go to on that before I need to start changing to forged internals??
