  1. na mate, there is more thna just that, my NA has batetry/HICAS and fuse box - I know as I relocated them for my speaker install and when you sit down and calculate costs - it wouldn't be cheaper tos ell my car and buy a turbo version - sell my NA, lose money on it as you do with cars, buy a stock turbo without my nice buddy clubs
  2. loud is not always good - loud = more ait passing = less filtration you need to find the happy medium between quality air and the amount, the apexi/K&N range do a great job and oiled are illegal unless CAI boxed due to the oil may ignite - it has happened before...
  3. join date and ban date the same - and same ISP - very very coincidental
  4. just keep in mind about the water issues when running pipe form down low - good luck
  5. simply IP check would do the trick same IP ban same subnet VERY sus
  6. i spoke with meggala in PM and he gave me some insight to simply turbo'ing this motor - i am leaning towards doing it now....
  7. search is a fun tool http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=62907 read that topic - everyhitng you want to know will be there and BazR33 - i doubt you lost thast much power - I have seen dyno sheets to back-up that if a POD is not enclosed in a partition/CAI Box you will LOSE power - but using a POD in CAI and a High flow K&N panel in the stock air box you would't lose 53KW's
  8. yes, but if you use the weatherproof heat shrink - when heated a resin is formed inside to make it water tight and help insulation
  9. would heatshrink work? we have a shitload at work
  10. c'mon guys
  11. upgrde for my 33 if i added a turbo

  13. hey guys I need to send some stuff from Bundaberg, QLD to Melbourne - the box will contains computer bits, including a 17" CRT monitor - total packe say weigh < 30KG's I want to know what people reckon abotu the best way to get the stuff there quickly, and in 1 piece? thanks guys
  14. not too bad mate - try making a header - as it makes you feel like you have to scroll up to get the full view if you know what i mean, maybe a small space at top with the black border going up and curving around other that it aint bad - how much would you be after roughly? I don't want to buy it but might be into selling some of my work
  15. yeah, the bolt on turbo is another option i'm looking at.... thanks for the tips mate right now i want: 1. easy 2. cheap in that order so bolt on turbo might be it
  16. dan, could you check out my thread in my sig maybe mate? it might be a option to turbo the current NA
  17. still available

  19. hey guys I'm thinking about buying a half cut - then doing a converison on my R33 (RB25DE) to a RB25DET I don't want any replies telling me to sell the car and buy a turbo 33 - because thats not what I want to do I'm after any information from anyone who knows how, or has done it before. How hard is it to do? How different are the looms? Will any changes need to be made? I was looknig at a friends RB25DET and there seems to be a shitload more stuff not only under the bonett - but also under the parcel shelf etc? Also any info on how to remove the motor wuold be great too Thanks guys
  20. it's allot of work to manualy add the aco**** - poor christian has enough to do maybe he should look at installing hivemail
  21. still for sale guys no cords etc - it'd be perfect for someone wanting to run it in their car..
  22. http://www.modyourcar.com.au they are VERY cheap - and great service, thats where i got mine
  23. check out my thread: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=62816 When i did mine i replaced the entire shelf and made a new one but you don't have to do this... Roughly steps I took: 1.Remove rear seat 2.Remove stock speakers 3.Remove the Masonite timber panel on rear shelf 4.Remove everything form your boot - including your battery 5.Unscrew your HICAS Unit (this will need to be moved) 6.Get in your boot with the 6x9 template, mark where you want them 7.Use a angle grinder to cut away the steel - this is not allowed as it's a structual part of the car but you wont get done for it or anything 8. Once cut make sure no sharp edges, then try the speaker - if it fitst cut the top timber panel to fit (or make a ne wone like i did) I helped my mate do his yesterday - took about an hour, should take you about 2ish if you aint done it before - maybe more if your scared of the sparks form the grinder Method B is to buy some 6x9 'blocks' from say autobahn (or make your own) they do look a bit shitty IMHO but some people like them
  24. submitte don eBay - but will sell to someone here first
