  1. i have some rims that came off my GTS before i got my 17" buddy clubs - they are not stock - 16" i think and are what was on the car from japan - 2 peice i think might have pics: http://www.gatty.net/car/ check out the pics - they are the rims - not the black ones the others rubber is great on them - i want to sell them
  2. for all the negetive posts, the post about selling my NA and buying a GTST and anything else about it being a rice mobile you can all go get f_cked and suck my co_k sometime i realy do wonder why i just don't go and post at NS - with replies like these i may as well have... Simply asking a question - wondering if anyone has done it or seen it done - do not post to be laughed at or for people calling me a ricer - no doubt the ones who said i was a ricer have some 'fully sick 20" chromies" from tempe tyres on their cars as opposed to some real volks/buddy clubs - who's the ricer?????
  3. well mate the standard one i am fairly sure is a paper type one i reipped one off a stock turbo yesterday and it seemed like it was paper one - the gasket between turbo and manifold is copper though
  4. not just for looks just because if i don't grab it now he's selling to another guy - and i don't see the point of having it collect dust in the shed but i guess with my new bomex front a FMIC would look nice in that big bare space surely it would drop the temp a bit though...
  5. hey guys mate of mine said i can have his old intercooling - for if/when i turbo my NA - it's a hybrid copy usual one seen on here - he upgraded to some crazy trust kit he reckons i could put it on the car now, run one pipe to throttle body and on the other end have it finish in the engine bay with a POD on it - i reckon this wouldn't work as air flow may be cooler but surely the motor wont be able to suck enough air through that distance? thoughts?
  6. the turbosmart ones have a small hole also - no idea why...
  7. doesn't mean you can't drive a skyline mate
  8. ^ or you could buy some proper spitfire ones
  9. check out mine: http://www.filejunkies.net/sighost/images/airbox1.jpg http://www.filejunkies.net/sighost/images/airbox2.jpg i am planning to get a 100mm hole saw and make a hole direcly below where the pod sits and run a bit of 100mm duct from just behind frontbar
  10. says your from the gold coast mate but you bought that car from chris in bundy? sorry bout the hijack
  11. sounds sweet - i am considering doing all of it myself - helping a mate fit a new turbo to his - it doesn';t seem to be all 'that' different
  12. need a pic mate not sure where your saying
  13. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...196#post1360196 check out there dan - what you think bout that idea?
  14. got an idea about water/oil lines..... rather than getting holes bored in my block/sump etc a guy was telling me he did a bit of a **** around job on a old ford ute - bodge job but what he did for oil/water lines he simply tapped from say oil pressure line and radiator hose (or similar). I 2was wondering if this would work with the rb25DE - be a hell of allot easier and cheaper
  15. and EUG it was a K&N oiled filter - so i am fairly sure it must be partitioned away from the motor
  16. hmmm, turn it anticlockwise or clockwise to advance it? and how much movement roughly amounts to how many degree's - i have no timing light but wouldn' mind moving it a tad see what happens
  17. he had a boost gauge and a oil temp gauge mounted on the pillar - just 2 x 2" blitz gauges apparently they need to be in the dash...
  18. autobahn has copper head gasket for like 500 i think also you do realize you will need someone to bore holes in your block/sump etc etc for the oil/water lines to/from the turbo....
  19. how ca it be advanced mate? aftermaket ECU/piggy back required?
  20. hey guys Last thurs night the state traffic task force was up here in Bundaberg. Got a few cars including mine. Got mine for being 99DB (should be 90 or less) and got 1 point and 75 dollar fine - it's a self fix one though so not too bad.... Someone I know in a R31 with RB20 got done for BOV, too loud, gauges not in dash, steering wheel 10mm too small, POD filter not enclosed and a bit more I think had a sweet highway patrol car and shit - they seemed to know what they were talking about although they didn't believe me that my car was a NA hope they don't come back up here for a while hahahha
  21. perhaps a lock of this is in order until things cool down
