I got an invite from Na_r33 on friday afternoon for a skidpan and LVMA day, and since I had never done one before I couldn't resist. The thing I couldn't believe was that after a while the instructors just sat around and let you do pretty much whatever you wanted to do provided you are not a complete D*@%head. The only warning of the day I can remember was to try and keep the revs down a little. I am still sunburnt, have a jarred neck, and my bank account is a little emptier but it was worth it. I had so much fun. Thanks must go to John who let me ride in the redline machine for much of the day, and to the other Skyline owner in the Purple qkr33 line. (I'm so sorry I can't remember your name.) Thanks for the drifting lessons. And John. I hope you put more than 4 screws in your rear bumper when you put it back on.

I was a little reluctant to go out in the rain last night, but in the end I was well pleased I did. Also if the brissie guys remember the little group with the exa's and the 300zx at milton maccas, one of the exa's beached their car over a gutter at about 11:45 and I can only assume it was undriveable as when I drove past it for the third time there was a tow truck. It was at the end of the centenary freeway just before the first raoundabout at toowong.
