- AE92 Corolla Seca or any model corolla for that matter - Nissan Pular - Honda Civic - Charade Cheap on petrol, reliable, easy to maintain and cheap to fix if things go wrong. You can get the above for anywhere between 1.5 - 3.5k depending on condition. I see you have a NA 34 imo i wouldnt waste the money on another daily they are more than capable of having all the above things i just mentioned. I drove my NA 34 as a daily to work and put 35,000km on the clock in a year and a half. If you service it and treat it properly it will last just like anything.

nomnomv8 replied to SxDim's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Can you please send me pics of the greddy y pipe and are you selling the apexi power intake filters that bolt onto the z32 afm's ?? From my understanding they are different than the standard rb26 apexi intake filter kit to accomodate for the larger 80mm AFMs or is it the same product?? -

Colour Code For R34 Gtr Spoiler Blade
nomnomv8 replied to nomnomv8's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I would but i cant justify spending the $1500 or so for a genuine Nismo one way too overpriced. Still tossing up matt or gloss finish on the blade (black). Any suggestions?? -

Colour Code For R34 Gtr Spoiler Blade
nomnomv8 replied to nomnomv8's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
Just having a hard time finding a 100% match as all the shades ive looked at so far have been close but not entirely OEM. Might just paint it black as it will look good with the new z-tune kit thats going on soon -

Should be a good day granted the weather holds up! 28 degrees is expected but forecasts in Sydney dont mean anything this summer as we have seen lol.. -

Couldnt help but notice this line: "*Due to some LAC police attention on an unofficial cruise a while back down the same road, any 'suspect' (read modified) cars should tuck themselves somewhere between 3rd and 3rd-last in the convoy." Exactly how much po-po are we anticipating guys? The car isnt very suspect but its far from undefectable lol -
Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows the colour code for that silverish blade thats on the 34R spoiler. As seen in the image below i am talking about the part thats covered with CF wrap Cheers

Apart from the w*nk factor in telling people you have a Vspec you also get: - Rear carbon fiber diffuser that runs along the underbody (pretty cool) - Intercooler temp + exhaust temp sensor (intake temp can be useful but not the end of the world if you dont have them) - "TV" button on your MFD - Active rear diff - Grey seats (which imo are a negative as i prefer the black)

Why Are My Brakes Screaming For?

Does anyone know weather the Nissan shim kit above is suitable for GTR brembo's ?? -
Mate if your from Sydney you might as well drive to Tarren Point JSAI. Carmate are exactly the same as the JSAI ones and you can actually pick them up on the spot as opposed to waiting for online delivery. They can also paint them for you for extra cost. The diffuser colour as i stated earlier is Trim black and you can do it your self for about $30 its really fool proof and impossible to stuff up.
-
Just to coment on the finish. They only come with a base coat when you recieve them. Abit of wet sanding, primer and trim black paint (was told this was the matching code from factory) and it comes out looking amazing! Only cost about $30 to DIY it so well worth it otherwise it just looks cheap and worn out
-
A friend of mine bought the lower lip from JSAI at Tarren Point and for a replica its rather good. Bolted straight up into the factory holes and looked fairly good too. Price was very good also at $280 from memory. Only downfall is that the lip doesnt come all the way across under the car and tunnel towards the gearbox as a genuine one does but for the price you pay it looks the part from the outside and his its still holding up

Nope, -10's. These are way too cheap someone snap them up already ! -
I was unfortunate enough to get caugh up in the middle of all this bs while on my way to Maroubra in my GTR. Fortunately enough I got pulled over into the RBT before any of these ACA w*nkers turned up to add more fuel to the fire. Was told my exhaust was "too loud" and I had exposed pods however I did have my standard intake lying around in my boot and made it clear to the office that I had every intention of fitting it back on as I've spent way too much money on the vehicle to be paying fines and I have every intention of obiding by the law. I guess i must have stood out from all the previous tools the officer had dealt with that day as I treated him with respect and he returned it back - he did although call my Nismo Ne-1 exhaust a "milo tin can" lol. He didnt refer me to the pits nor issue me a defect or fine and instead advised me to "go home because there's plenty of us out tonight and you will be issued a defect if you get pulled over again".

Thoughts On Track R34 Gt-R
nomnomv8 replied to No Crust Racing's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I understand you are adamant on an R34 but if go-fast on a budget is what you want you can build a bulletproof 32 that will run rings around the 34 and still have left over change to go on holidays. In saying that if you have decided that this car will be 100% track dedicated and never see the road I would definately go along the lines of bringing in a race-only import as it will save you minimum $20,000 for a R34 GTR. As you already know the RB26 is notorious for oil problems so for a regular track car a sump extension kit (you can get Greddy ones from memory) and a baffle kit along with the several other measures you mentioned above are a MUST.
