  1. Cheers mate - nice, simple and neat Also goes past 180
  2. Random happy snap..
  3. Admittedly it is a beautiful car but severely overpriced imo. From memory there was an M-Spec on car sales 5-6 months ago with an asking price 25k less than this, albeit i know nothing of its quality.
  4. Whats the duty cycle on your injectors atm?? You've already got ecu, fuel pump.. change to a decent flowing exhaust from front pipes back (id leave standard dumps and save your self unnecessary spending as back to back dyno graphs have proven the upgrade alternatives for your power goals make SFA difference and not worth the $$$), get some cam gears, some injectors if required, -5's and retune. edit: also budget for a new clutch as if your still running the OEM one it will go bang quiet quickly regardless of what turbo you choose
  5. This. I find it ridiculous that you would even contemplate doing the test knowing well and truly your innocent. Request to talk to management, the dummies on the phones dont know nothing about anything outside their normal work protocol/procedure.
  6. Epic is the only words to describe this car... What tyres was the run done on if you don't mind me asking?
  7. Cheers fellas Funny you say that as a rather large branch fell a couple of weeks ago! And ofcourse due to silly council rules/regulations I cant remove the tree so I guess shes there to stay.. Thankfully the front yard can fit up to 5 cars easily and that spot near the tree is always vacant. Plus the GTR spends her time sleeping in the garage and comes out once in a blue moon so apart from damaging my concrete there isnt much that trees falling branches can take out.. unless the whole bloody tree topples then im well and truelly stuffed!
  8. Looked up while picking crap up from the garage and couldnt resist snapping up a pic as she looked tough as from the angle. Crap Iphone does no justice lol need to get the DSLR camera out and take some worthy photos of her !
  9. I can give you my genuine 34 GTR bonnet for alot less than 1100 if your keen, just saying Send me a pm if your interested.
  10. That would be close to 60k landed, complied, rego'd and on Australian roads if im not wrong?? Still too big of a price to pay for a standard non VS2 GTR imo - although it would be bloody clean and nice judging by the auction grade and few pictures provided !
  11. Its been a while since ive put a pic up.. Quick iphone snap
  12. Where did you get that zippo lighter from Matt looks awesome ?!?!
  13. Ive got the Coppermix Twin C-spec in mine and have nothing but praise for it. By far the easiest twin plate I have ever driven and at the same time has a real good bite to it. A few of the guys have mentioned noise issues - you can hear it on the odd occassion in neutral however its pretty subtle and honestly nothing to lose sleep over. Give it about 500km or so of driving (start/stop as opposed to highway kms) before you give it a launch, I guarantee you it will definately "hold the power"
  14. say what ????
  15. As stated above 19 psi is asking for the stockers to go fail. In my experience ive seen stockers run on 16.5psi (1.15bar) for substancial periods of time (~2 years) and still going strong. Personally id set .8bar (11.5psi) for putting around town and cruising and set 1.15 for when you want to have abit of fun. Keep in mind though the consequences of your actions if the stockers go bang though
  16. Cheers for the advice mate, might just go and give her a blast and see which end of the 11's scale she comes home to with the rubbish tyres on atm. Definately investing in a set of Micky T's ET Street Radials on the bucket list for Christmas Believe it or not I had a standard clutch holding up ~340awkw at one point and went strong for a good 4-5 months until it finally went pop (quiet literally the pressue plate shattered). Got the Nismo C-spec twin atm and its on a totally different ball game but standard clutch for up to 270kw in my experience was bloody awesome ! Ps how did you go ?
  17. I'm confident it will get 11s all day every day with stuff all effort even with the 19's. I'm not after 11s though I'm after a 10. I can't see the point of putting the driveline through unnecessary shock by launching the tits off it with 10.5" 275/35/19 front and back when I know it won't get the desired time I'm after.
  18. As above stated. The fact that there's no truck in frame either makes the argument a hard one to debate and chances of winning are extremely slim. Unfortunately just gota cop it on the chin
  19. Ive can get my hands on a spare set of R33 GTR wheels with crap rubber on them however im going for a 10.x in street trim to get booted off and never go back hence cant justify spending >$1000 on wrapping them with good rubber if their only gona see 2 or so passes down the quater (1 on low boost, 1 on high). Not intending on doing any track days with this car either so tyres/rims will be redundant after the runs down the quater
  20. Fail weather today for runs and even bigger fail on trying to find some bloody tyres -_-
  21. By fry i implied sitting it on the brakes which I obviously cant do she definately has a potential for a high 10 though with sticky tyres based on what I have seen and experienced in the past. Would take my street tyres down but im running 275's front and back on 19 x 10.5" wheels which are absolutely hopeless for drags
  22. Hi, As title states I am looking for someone who is willing to let me borrow their set of wheels (w/ grippy tyres) to take my R34 GTR for her first run down the strip Slicks / Semi's will be prefered and with some luck and sticky tyres I get booted off after 1 run with a 10.xx (unlikely as its my first time attending with her but fingers crossed) Either way being an AWD and incapable of frying them before the Christmas tree your tyres will not go through much abuse at all. Happy to pick the wheels up and drop them off or even change them on at the track and take them back off when I leave if you decide to come past WSID and watch/participate. In saying that I am ofcourse willing to compensate anyone nice enough to lend me the tyres with $$$ or beer/skotch/strippers/whatever - which ever they prefer Customary picture of car attached below, PM if anyone has any offers Cheers !!
  23. Looking after this particular rubber as shown by the pic below. PM me if anyone knows where i can get my hands on one Cheers !!
  24. ^^ See above. Too often i see guys get screwed around on workshops who decide to take up 5-6 big builds at a time and work on each one when they have some spare time. Its understandable that projects like this take time but some workshops over do it. Heck ive had a forged rebuild "drive in drive out" done in 3 weeks including modifications to the head, all machining, upgrade to my fuel system (pump, injectors etc). Most people are lucky if they get the same in 3 months !
