  1. R34 GTR cams are different to R32 / R33. You will need to pull the motor apart
  2. Cheers Terry ! By make up replicas do you mean simply wiring up LED's inside the circuit ?? I may have found a cheap set from Japan however I will speak to Aggroman also and get him to explain it in abit more detail.
  3. Black sure does look great on these cars ! With such a low asking price for a brand new sports car I cant help but feel that they will soon become the new S15,,, an over played taxi you see driving every time you go out Interesting to see what the resale value on these will be in 2-3 years time and weather they will hold price or not. For the right price I can definately see this being a nice pocket rocket daily
  4. Im in this dilema atm, Ive got the mesh ordered and powdercoated but big shiny intercooler looks very tough in person. Shame the police dont seem to agree with me though =/
  5. Let me know if you have a set or know of anyone who does and is keen on letting them go. Located in Sydney and can pick up if preffered by seller otherwise post will do. Cheers
  6. I've got a standard R34 GTR cooler in good condition if your keen, check my thread or send me a pm if your interested
  7. Hey mate do you know if these bolt up to the R34 GTR pipe without any modifications ??
  8. As title states, have a pair of OEM R34 Turbos with 59xxx km on them for sale. Located in Sydney but will ship to buyer if needed be. Price is $650 neg, feel free to throw me an offer as i want to get rid of these. Pics will be up shortly.
  9. Pretty sure i saw this last night parked at Brighton looked very shmick !
  10. Abit late of a response but AFM's have ~59xxx km on them, in perfect working condition prior to taking them off
  11. For the price it looks like an absolute bargain. Worst case motor blows, big deal put a 2.8 stroker in it and have a beast for under $50,000. To put things in perspective there is no way on earth you could build a reliable (use this term loosely) 400kw+ 34 GTR and get any change from $60,000 including purchase of the vehicle.
  12. Didnt come up too bad considering it hasnt been washed in over a 6 weeks lol gota love a good quality camera!
  13. In all seriousness why do you want a R32 GTS ?? I dare say that a Camry would leave the good old RB20DE for dead and all you will be doing is attracting unwanted police attention. Buy a crap run around, smash it around till you get your fulls and fast forward 2 years later your going to be thanking your self that your $6-7000 richer thanks to not buying a boat anchor and modifying it
  14. You should snap up my daily BA XR6 that I am selling lol in all seriousness though i agree with the above on the XR6 falcon and have taken mine on a few long stretch runs with no issues. Great car, pretty quiet and the seats are extremely comfortable. Fuel consumption on the highway is also suprisingly very good!
  15. Reo bar has nothing to do with mounting points of the cooler. Not 100% on 32's but i dare say that you can fit a larger sized cooler without having to chop up the reo (fit 100mm cooler on my R34 with standard untouched reo)
  16. Swung past for a little bit with a few mates to check it out and gota say there was some nice cars out! Anth the yellow definately does look alot better in person and pictures dont do it justice! Matt's Nur just looked stunning as always
  17. Excavate and re-concrete. $9000 later i finally got my car inside my garage and out of warehouse storage... The things we do for cars -_-
  18. Picture of cooler (Sorry for the crap quality will take better ones later for those interested)
  19. Hey guys as title states: Oem Cooler in good condition - $300 Blitz Pods with adaptors (4000kms on them) - $200 Standard afms - $120 Not sure how fair the pricing is on these so prices are negotiable feel free to shoot me a pm. Parts are located in Sydney and pick up is preferred for cooler but will post other items. Pics will be up shortly
  20. 325awkw which is smack bang in the middle of your goal is very achievable with the -9's. As for -5, -7, -9 and -10 they are simply just the Garrett GT2860 turbo range. Theres a few threads that explain these in greater detail but essentially the general consensus is stick to the -9s (HKS GT-SS equivelants) for the best response vs power trade off for anything up to 330awkw. The -7's that i mentioned before are simply the N1 turbos ie steel wheel as opposed to ceramic. As for your clutch that whine sound is typical of a twin plate clutch so you never know you might actually have one in there. If i was in your shoes i would: 1. Get a fuel pump (Nismo drop in would be best and easiest to install if your doing it your self, a bosh 044 will do as well and save you some $$$) 2. Get bigger injectors 3. Electronic boost controller (nothing too fancy dont go spending $900 on something that a unit half the price can do) 4. Nismo AFM's (100% direct replacement for factory units) 5. Get a ECU (PowerFC will be the easiest and most cost effective imo as theres a crapload of them going second hand for a good buy. Plus seeing as its a street car your still running AFM's so you can get away with "I just have an exhaust officer thats it" in the case you get pulled over) 6. Garrett 2860-9 Turbos 7. Tune car and enjoy If the clutch shits itself during Step 7 or a week or 2 later then obv that will need changing too. Aside for that thats a pretty basic and rough guidline you can always add more if you like but thats pretty much your bread and butter for changing the turbo on a GTR. As you can see its a rather expensive hobby
  21. Ben, Its all up to your individual goals and aims of the car. How much power do you want, what are you going to be using the car for, what fuel?? etc.. Although nengun is a good website you will find that there are many local sources, business traders and private sellers who will provide you with a better price and a prompt delivery (2-3 days after purchase as opposed to the weeks it takes from nengun). If your happy with the way your car drives now response wise and just want to be able to boost it safely with a little more power then go for the Garret -7 or -9s. In saying this I have no idea what modifications you have already done to your car but I am assuming that you know that you will also need to upgrade your injectors, fuel pump and AFM's (if your still using AFM's, again goes back to the first question of what the car is going to be used for). Changing the turbo isnt as simple as buying the $2000 or so dollar units and putting them on in your engine bay. Have you done the clutch in your car? If not that will need changing too.
  22. Countless memories where had with this 3 cylinder 993cc's box on wheels lol. Pictures are courtesy of wikipedia until i get home and try chase up any remaining pictures:
  23. Just to add to the comments of a few of the other guys here its just luck of the draw i guess. I was running mine on 1.15bar for an excessive amount of time dare say ~3 years and when I later pulled them out turbos had no shaft play and where in very good overall condition. Alternatively ive heard cases of them blowing at 6 months use on 1 bar also.. Your right foot is your boost controller mate and if your not flat stick every time you jump in your car chances are you will be ok, in saying that if your unlucky the risk is always there..
