  1. My V36 is debadged, both the nissan and skyline badges are gone.
  2. When searching, look for 370z parts too, as the suspension is pretty much the same
  3. I'm not sure, I haven't done it yet... From what I've read, it's a bit difficult to do it without some kind of high pressure water source
  4. Does the frequency of the clicking change with the revs? If so, I had that too, though it seems to have gone away. According to the g37 forums, you'll need to backflush the heater core . Apparently it's a common problem: http://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-coupe/199564-clicking-noise-on-hard-acceleration.html
  5. Bluetooth worked fine with my HTC mozart, and is fine with my Nexus 4. You can also use the compact flash card for music, though that's limited to the first 512 songs...
  6. I think your main issue will be clearing the bigger brakes, so be careful of that
  7. Main reason why I didn't buy a v36 sedan is that it doesn't come in a manual
  8. Thanks Rob. I actually raised the height compared to those pictures. They were taken with RSR Black coils on them (that's the highest they would go). It was too impractical for Australian roads, and I was told that there was a high chance that I would scrape when driving the car up and down the ramp when shipping to Australia. So I bought the KW V3's and raised it about an inch. I'll probably leave it that height for a while, the handling hasn't really suffered
  9. I bought it a year ago for 2.5 mill yen, roughly $31k Spent heaps on parts though... Amuse R1 Titanium exhaust, KW V3 coils, Rays TE37SL, Impul front spoiler... now i'm broke
  10. Yeah, I'm a bit worried about that too. I plan to sand down the blacked out lights to lighten it a bit, see if it still looks ok
  11. Hey all I've been lurking on here for a while now, but now that I've left Japan and am back in Melbourne, thought I'd post up some pictures. I have a 2007 V36 Skyline Coupe 6MT. This is what it looked like when I bought it in Japan. Here's what it looks like now: From behind: The car lands in Melbourne on the 6th October + another 3 weeks or so for compliance = 1 more month to wait Looking forward to be able to attend some meets in Melbourne soon
  12. AFAIK, the v36 comes with a analogue tuner, which is now useless in japan, because they've switched off all the analogue transmissions and have gone to digital. The previous owner must've installed a digital tuner. Problem is, the tuners aren't compatible in Australia. AU uses DVB-T and japan uses isdb-t. You'll have to replace the whole unit to get it to work
  13. It says: Engine Oil Set Interval(?) is coming up The translated manual is here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/332357-v36-skyline-japanese-translation-document-work-in-progress/
  14. That holder isn't a charger, it's just to start the car in case the battery in the key is fully dead. It's really easy to change the battery in the key, just pry it open and its a generic CR2032 flat battery
