In some states in US you can't Import R34 Skylines as the are considdered to Quick.. or something like that... here it is just a temporanry thing while they change all the procedures over to the new system...

its an 89 one of the first. I dont yet its being got wright now.. it has a little cylinder that push's the clutch from the out side which I assume pulls on the inside.

Guys, The clutch on my 32' GTR, went last night and needs replacing. As I will be changing the clutch my self, I have decided to go the Patrol Heavy Dupty (R173N) option, I was after confirmation that this clutch, that fits the R32 GTST, will infact also fit the GTR, IE are GTR and GTST clutch's inter- changeable? More: Can anyone report as to how well this set up works (ie have done it them selfs). Thanks Stirlo

89' R32 GTR? compatible with the Patrol Heavy dupty option?? anyone??? what should labour normally cost to get the clutch changed? Thanks!

I appreciat where the SAU are comming from and I appologise for what I wrote if it up set them! HOWEVER I do not appologise to J-Spec at all, what I wrote about J-Spec was true. Umm no offence but a deposit is just that .. its to cover him and his cost's for time etc looking for a car for you.. and hey it is a deposit you dont normally get deposits back.. How ever his rule is that you get 90% of it back.. so you loose about $100.. it seems fair enough to me..

I have my car and it is a great example.. there are a few on these boards that will varify its condition.. and to add to it, it was the cheepest on the site @ $14,700- We were so impressed that my dad just bought and recieved a 92' V8 Soarer and it is also a beautiful example of a car..

I'll put my 2c in, I just imported an R32 GTR through Geoff, no bad hickups had the car in 6 mobnths as I had to wait for import in 2004, had the car early feb... was exteamly happy with the car. ****Edited by PranK - sorry, but no slagging of business'**** I have had dealings Geoff and have only good words about him, put your money with prestige...

Dan I still argue that cert point.. they definatly asked for mine when I went through in fact the main reason I got nocked back was because the engine number was not listed on the cert... so I would say you will find that you do require one.. but then if you get through with out one then there's $450 you that have more than me.. HOw ever the side intursion bars is interesting as the only way to prove it really is with the Engineers Cert, so if you dont need an engineer cert you wont need the intrusion bars... interesting so you would have more than $1k more than me.. interesting..

Will do.. My car did not pass rego but only minor things Rego should be fine for early next week.. as I said it on an unrestricted permit ATM so I can still drive it..

Saw an R31 yesterday across the road from my house, nice wheels and minor mods, picking up his G/F I assume. His face was priceless when I pulled out of my driveway.. hehehehe
