  1. I had a look at a pair when getting my exhuast done - if I didn't already have HKS ones I would have gone the CES dumps, they are the best that I've seen for a GTR (even rate them over the new Trust ones).
  2. Can be alloy or steel - needed for drag tyres, will consider full set of 4. Prefer Brisbane.
  3. As I said, it was markr34's car (a member on the forums) - drove it to & from the track, thought it did a 9.7 though. Has a built engine with a T51 SPL - should be some quicker times soon.
  4. This is markr34's one - ran a 9.77 on the new MT ET drag radials (his time is #2 on the register).
  5. Midnight GTR - I wouldn;t waste $$ on 3" front pipes, mine made 355rwkw at the same boost & I've only got 2 1/2 inch ones albeit cams & 2530s & that was on the same dyno. If you reckon your ebc holds boost ok I'd sit on the dyno with them & see if it does - if its dropping boost well that would certainly give bad power figs.
  6. GTR 32 - I installed aftermarket gauges whilst still retaining the oem ones, here's some observations I've made: Std water temp gauge => aftermarket gauge can move 30 degrees (in 2 degree increments) without the oem one moving at all (only time my stock one went to hot was "after" I split a radiator hose - this is also common with Subarus). Std oil pressure gauge => accurate up to about 4.5 bar (agrees with aftermarket one) but won't read any higher pressure, unlike the aftermarket one. Oil temp gauge => no oem fitted, so can't comment. My aftermarket gauges are electric Omori ones & have very quick response times (particularly oil pressure where you get rapid changes).
  7. See Aaron at APC at Underwood, he does a stack of them.
  8. Hopefully its not like my single plate, its either in or out - mind you it doesn;t slip even with 350rwkw but it's not streetable, multi-plate for me next time!
  9. A mate lost his freshly rebuilt Hemi 6 to the same oil as well..........
  10. Both in excellent working order off R33 GTR - $120
  11. RB26 is a very expensive option (have one in my GTST) unless you can fit it all yourself - save your bucks & rebuild what you have.
  12. Thanks Scott, my 3 pumps came thru fine. For anyone interested in ordering I can thoroughly recommend buying from Scott - the pumps arrived within a couple of days after paying my deposit & are authentic Bosch items (were still sealed in boxes from the factory).
  13. ABS quoted me $220 each.
  14. Get an aftermarket gauge, the only time mine shifted was when I split a radiator hose & it over-heated. I can get a 30 degree shift in mine & the standard needle does not move at all.
  15. Can anyone recommend a good brake shop in Brissy - preferably southside?
  16. JHH or John White
  17. I think you may have me mixed-up with another car, mine has a built RB26 engine with 2530s, HKS Step 2 cams etc, peak power is a bit under 8000 in mine.
  18. Gees, I hammered mine - changed about 7500 to 8000 every gear. Hit 200 in 4th at end of main straight, shame about the corners.........shame about my lines...........
  19. RNS11Z - was you Silvia the one with the front bumper removed? Had my car up there too but only one run as well, bugger....
  20. Thanks Adrian, not cheap but neither are slicks when you add up front-runners - 1.59 60' is pretty solid!!
  21. 2rismo - would your BFG's fit on a stock 16 inch R32 GTST rim? I was looking at a set myself, how much did they cost??
  22. Can't agree with you there krawler, not from my experience anyway...........
  23. Gordon, try markr34gtr - he is a member on the forums & has datalogit as well.
  24. CHASP - if you want to sell your stock bonnet let me know!
  25. bump
