  1. I've used both M/T & Hoosier drag radials - the M/Ts were 255 x 50 x 16 & Hoosiers were a 225 x 50 x 16 - to be honest they provided almost identical 60" times ranging from 1.75 to 1.8 sec. Hoosiers seem to have a softer side-wall than the M/Ts & look to be a slightly better track tire. Price-wise the M/Ts win hands down however the Hoosiers are good to the extent they can fit on stock 6.5" wide GTST rims. The smaller overall diameter of the Hoosiers required less revs with the launch than the M/Ts - also seemed to be a bit more consistent but this could have been me not the tyres........

  4. Yes put me down Mark - should be some good cars there! Russ
  5. Guys, this suspension alone knocked off 4.5 seconds from my time at Qld Raceway (Sprint layout) - you will not get a better sorted suspension for the price!
  6. Toyo Proxies RA1s - great in the wet, very good on the street (very sticky, traction similar to my old MT drag radials but can go around corners with these) - no good for track days as they turn into molten goo after 2 laps.
  7. Yes I have spare tyre + boot carpet. Pm if you're interested.
  8. Guys, just fitted Gary's kit to my GTST & it is the best $1700 I've spent on my car. This is a very well sorted package & the results certainly exceeded my expectations, to be honest I think you could spend $4 or $5k elsewhere & not achieve the same result. Anyone considering upgrading their suspension would be mad to go past this package. Thanks again Gary! UPDATE: This suspension reduced my PB lap time by 3.25 seconds (QR CLubman circuit)!
  9. Consider your GTR bonnet sold (pending you acquiring a CF one!).
  10. It is firmer than standard but not rock hard like Jap Teins (happy medium), good for street/occassional track.
  11. As new, KYB Excel-G gas shocks only 12 months old (only travelled about 5000klms), come with lowered heavy duty springs (unknown brand?) - the lot $400. Pm or 0409 635 106.

  16. Guys, I have a Viper alarm fitted by prior owner about 8 years ago. The warning beeps, lights etc go off everytime a truck drives past, if my garage door slams the alarm will go off full-on. Does anyone know how to reduce the alarms sensitivity as its driving me nuts! Thanks
