it all depends on what your having done? if your just installing speakers (i should slap you for not doing it yourself) but anywhere can do that. i dont really trust JB at all for installs, unles its just having a deck put in or something simple. but do you want show car work? or basic stuff? BDL Fyshwick have done some really imspressive work, including the Jracing S15 and many other showcar installs. also try Kustom car Creations, he's a member of syndicate and has apparently done some really nice work. hey guys, hoping you can shed some light on this situation 4 me. my battery has been going flat on and off for the last few months(usually only once every few weeks) anyway the last few days after i jump started it it was fine but as soon as i turned the car off, when i tried to restart it the alarm would go off(had to turn it off under bonnet) and the car shut down, so anyway yesteday was the last time i was going to jump start it to get it home then i was going to get a new battery. however i attached my +- leads to my batt then stupidly without looking i accidentally touched the other +- clips together, i turned around a second later and saw them smoking (one lead melted off the clip ) my friend who was helping jump start mine had his own leads so i attached them to mine and his car then went to reactivate the alarm but i noticed smoke started pouring out from the boot. i quickly disconected the leads but noticed that the + clip from my batt had slipped up and touched the wiring going to my rear wiper, it melted the wiring and one or two lil plastic bits. At this stage i was freaking out so i just called the NRMA, when the guy came out he refused to touch the car because he said the NRMA could be blamed for the damage (fair enough i thought) so he called a tow truck to come take the car to an autoelec, but he said i could have fried the ECU, alternator, starter motor etc... now it is my understanding that there is a sort of cut off fuse that stops the this happening in R33's so that would mean all i will need is a new battery right? as no further damage could be done? except replacing the wires to the rear wiper. am i wrong? the other thing i noticed was that my stereo still worked after all of this happened (i was listening to it while waiting for the truck) so thats a good sign right? anyway can you shed any light on the situation? have i only stuffed the battery or have i done some serious damage? btw the reason the battery was running down was due to the alarm i had put on a few months ago, and my parkers were permanently on while the car was on(i think they cross wired someting) and to make matters worse they snapped my front bar (NIZMO) while they were putting it on the truck and dont want to pay for it cause they said there was already a tiny crack there and it was gonna snap eventually anyway :bs!: sorry for the essay guys, thanks for your help!

in the unlikely event that it does rain, somewhere undercover sounds great, but i cant think of anywhere. if it does rain give Ewan or myself your numbers and one of us will call you to let you know ASAP. on a brighter note the last few days the weather has really improved and the temp is increasing byt the day, so fingers crossed we have a nice 20or so degree day. i just hope my front bar is fixed in time and not to mention the car. so does anyone know of anywhere good undercover?

maybe some really fat dude lit a fart? i was gonna suggest aurora borialis but it hangs around and its not one big flash. though i have seen it in canb, from my back veranda and it looks amazing. kinda freaky though if it was seen in canberra and sydney!!!!! thats a serioulsy huge flash!!!

yeah well i have nearly 3weeks to get her back on the road, so all should be good, i hope? the most likely case is that ive just fu**ed the battery and a few wires. theres a good chance the alternator may be good, and a slim chance ive scrambled the ECU. it was my own stupid fault for crossing jumpers. but its just been a nightmare lately but when it rains it poors right? i called my mate Dave (head mech at f&f imports) and had a chat about what might be wrong, if it is the ECU im gonna replace it with a power fc or microtech. its weird my car is getting faster and more powerfull, not by choice but because shit keeps breaking and im getting more powerfull parts to fix it lol!!! its out at Everlast now and hopefully i'll hear something tomorrow. and the damage wont be to severe, but i did enough to fill the entire car with smoke. im not sure what they plan to do about the damage, but its bad enough to need a respray but at least the fibreglass should be able to be repaired easily enough, i might talk to Jerry out at JRacing about it and c what he thinks. in all fairness to them they were very helpfull and friendly(both the drivers and the office) but i just hope it all works out!!! oh, just over it eh? gonna go buy a skateboard instead i think.

spotted on monday evening a black R33 behind me driving my dads statesman, just b4 the turn onto the yellow tunnel on the parkway heading tuggers bound. stayed behing us for a bit then gave it a blast passed me just after the tunnel. also spotted my car getting towed this arvo after fu**ing it up pretty good, ive wrecked the battery, may have fried the ECU, alternator and starter motor, plus some other stuff. Then the front bar getting snapped as it was put on the truck........i swear to god tow truck companys must HATE me!!! thats 2 in a few weeks......ITS A NIZMO BAR FFS!!!!!!!!!! im gonna cry !!!! ive had it!!!!!!!

just a quick note to say that just cars are now doing fire and theft for the ACT and NSW. i know some of you already knew this but i wanted to get it up here to let everyone know. it only covers 5k worth so it wont nearly cover the cost of our cars, but if the car gets stolen it will get us a new car, even if it is only 5k. to cover me till the end of my policy(6months away) its only and additional $125 anyway there it is, its not perfect but its better than having all or nothing as it was before with 3rd party or comp. spotted: last night, turning off into a side street from knoke av in gordon, a nice sounding wine red R33, i was going straight but turned left so i could have another look lol, i was in my mums excel though so he wouldnt have noticed me. also spotted this morning, stock black R33 cruising down namatjira dr. could have been leech's dad driving? not sure though. and on drakeford dr heading city bound a very clean wine red R32.

ok well how bout meet at the flags, take some there, head to parli house, take some there. then head to the cotter and eat some beef? sounds good to me.
