hey guys just thought i'd let you know that the canberra irish club is about to start green faces again this year. it'll be on every thursday night through to September. the 1st round this yr will start next thursday(24th june) and its $20 at the door, all other rounds are $15. this yr promises to be a big one as we have some very well known comedians from all around 0z. Hope to see some of you there, and i'll be more than happy to help you all get as drunk as you like!!!!!!! The 1st round this yr will feature the umbilical brothers. a few other noteables this yr are: Ahn Do, Chris (bloke) Franklin, the guy that plays Habib from Pizza, and heaps more.

spotted: Pauls yellow R32 gunning through the intersection on Melrose Dr tonight at about 9:30, came from hindmarsh and turned right onto Melrose(it may have been the other yellow R32 but i think it was Pauls). then at the other side of the lights a silver R33(i think s2) and finally on Namatjira dr. a red R33 came past me (just after 9:30) not a bad few spots in less than 5mins.

NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry mate but ur out of luck if u think u can get it done anywhere else other than dickson. nik(amaru) can attest to this for me. i bought mine a few months ago and had to get it changed to canberra rego from n.s.w. and just b4 this a new law was passed that no one other than dickson are allowed to rego check and pass vehicles. i had ed at tez (champion) check it out for me as i thought i could get around it, but he called and they wouldnt allow it. i had some of the guys from syndicate check it out for me to tell me what i needed to remove to pass(huge thanks for their time) but in the end i took it to Dickson as it was hoping they would pin me on ride height or something and then let me pass when i came back .......anyway the guys there were great blokes and let a few things slide 4 me, in the end all i had to do was install a high mount brake light and they passed me. ask for Dave when you get it checked, he's a great bloke and did everything he could to help me. so to answer your question: only dickson can rego check ur car now, nowhere else can...period.

i swear to god ewan u make these things when i cant come!!!!! lol. im heading up to the coast on friday morning so i'll have to skip this one, shame.

hey guys i thought this thread might be a good idea for some of us to post in. basically i thought it would help if we put up places where we have seen speed cameras that we may not expect them or we rarely see them, so we can be carefull around certain areas we may have thought we'd be ok to have a blast in. (note not speeding would be the best bet, but for most of us with the cars we have, the temptation is to great) i guess i'll start, on drakeford drive heading out towards issabella plains i got busted by a cop car hiding in the bushes with a radar gun, i was doing about 150k in my lancer last yr and all of a sudden i saw them, i jammed on the brakes but only slowed down to 125 b4 they saw me, so they were well hidden as i only slowed down 25k with the brakes jammed on. they chased me down and kicked my ass heavily. also there has been a speed van once or twice on the turn onto namatjira from hindmarsh dr. its a very random spot but if u hammer through the corner then u'll be almost certainly done. feel free to add guys, i hope those 2 helped.

spotted: red R33 in deakin @ 2:30today, it was i was turning to the upramp to go southbound onto adelaide av just after the shell servo, he was coming the opposite way, sounded very nice and looked very good, (may have been ash's) gave a wave and im pretty sure i got one back.

hmmmm yeah, i know some guys have theirs to light up bright green. i havnt realy looked that closely at the logo, but from what i can see it seems fairly clear (frosted sorta) so i guess if u got a neon to light up just behind it then u could get it to glow and light up the letters.....anyone know??? cause im positive others have got theirs to light up by doing something to it.

hey mate, plz PM me the plates (or post em up) all of us south siders will keep an eye out for him im sure. dude seems like a real **** so it'll be good when he keeps getting the sh*t scared out of him by several skylines that r keen to f*ck him up. best thing to do though would be to report it to the police, i had a guy in an excel 2 years ago try to run me off the road near a round about on the way to the summanats, his woman screamed at me out of the window(they were both hicks) after he forced me to lock up and slide off the road, so i flipped him off(after she did the same to me) he slammed on the brakes in a 1lane guttered road so i couldnt escape and went off at me trying to open my door and punching my window......any way long story short he eventually left after scaring a just turned 17yr old half to death.....i called the police that night and after taking a statement from me they charged him with a few things and slapped him with a MASSIVE fine. anyway i dont regret calling the cops, he got his back 1000 times and i felt so much better!!! but anyway PM me his plates and i'll watch out for him.

with the right guard pumping and guard mods u can dump it very easily, its just a matter of altering the guards in the right way so that the tyres dont rub and effect ur steering in a negative way. so to answer ur question yes u can drop it 2 inches, u can drop it a whole lot more. and personally i think when u dump lines on 19's it looks amazing!!!

spotted yesterday evening just b4 5 on william hovell dr. white R32 GTR flew past me, i thought it might have been niks but it another ride, big exhaust, very sexy dished rims (gold centres) looked awesome!!! i was gonna boot it and have a run as it flew past, but with all of the traffic it wasnt a good idea. would have ben fun though, it seemed quick.

yeah it was NSW rego, but the plates werent personalized, they were just sitting around the tyre pump, and after i left the guys got in the R32 and followed me out, but i turned into the shops directly next to the servo to get a paper and they turned around and went back toward the servo, coulda just been a coincidence, they probably werent following me.

OK, just spotted at chapman servo....... R32 dont think it was a GTR(no pumped gaurds) im surprised that ive never heard of it or seen it. Black, the front was covered in flames, 3spoke drift rims on the front, 18'(i think). chrome spinners on the rear. didnt get to close to it but from the size of the zorst and sound of it i think it was pretty tough. there were 2 asian guys driving it, and they were with another car(i think s4 RX7) and there was another asian guy driving that. but i thought i woulda heard more of it, b4 seeing it today. meh

does any one use f&f imports? i got my last one serviced there by dave(champion) so i fugured i'd just get my line done there aswell
