and remember stop in the garage in the damn garage

simple go to your local paint place and ask them what they recomend i just lightly sanded to get rid of original flakey coating plastic primed then top coated you can then clear but i was woried bout reflection/ glare my dash surround is in a light grey with the feature pieces ( inst cluster speaker grills etc) round the cab in a light metallic blue all done at home in the shed with spraypacs

the click is the relay (the black box in midle of the door) so this can mean its something between there and the motor or the motor itself but seing as it went up later id bet dirty or loose conection somewhere

take it to a auto leky but my money its a loose wire somewhere try ratling things about and turnin the ignition on and off but the skins gunna have to come off to fix it properly (its only a 2 min job)
