how about if i applied for a 'low volume certificate' under the 'sevs' scheme if its under 12mths, cause i just found out hes only owned it 7mths anyway

i am trying to bring in an r34 from new zeland however obviously with no compliance plates available at present i assumed it wouldnt be possible and that was the vibe i got from several compliancers i got in touch with, however i got a reply from Direct Imported Auto Brokers in Queensland (anybody know anything about em?) saying if it (the r34) has been owned for more than 12mths i can apply to import the car into Australia as a 'personal import' which would mean very basic compliance and cost under A$1000. I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this because I dont want to buy the car if i cant get it complied and if this is correct who do i talk to about applying to bring the car into Australia this way? thanks guys!

i am looking to import an r34 from japan however recently hear at present they cannot be imported, does anyone know when you will be able to import them or know of anyone who could help me either import one at a later date or buy one here in australia thanks

i recently heard that at present r34s could not be complied, has anyone else heard this and does anyone know of any places in australia where they can be complied, assuming this infrormation is incorrect cheers

i am almost 19 years old and looking to insure a 98' r34 gt-t, so far only just cars have given me a quote of $3,335 for full comprehensive cover, i was just wondering if anyone knows of any other insurance companies that would be willing to insure me, i have also tried young and cool but to no avail, any help would be fantastic, thanks

i own a 98' r34 skyline gt-t and currently live in new zeland, i am moving to peth, and was wondering if i would have to have the car complied in australia? the car is a jap import and was complied on arrival to new zeland 18mths ago when i bought it, if anyone could help me out with some info id really appreciate it, thanks
