  1. Sorry champ..too low for me, I'm not that desperate unless it was that plus a trade in from you. In this hick town they won't touch a trade down import. They all love at and 'say' probably $90k if we did...but it's all talk... It's too good of a car to let go easily...probably the best car I will ever own and it depresses me..hehe

thats cool, just asking, you never know some people actually go for deals like that, anyways the best i can do is swap you my 350z and save you say 50k on building your new house like i do for all my friends, sounds like a bargain to me

  2. I guess it depends on the changeover, if its most of the money then just a runabout like a rav4 or something, if if half or less than maybe a 4 door 34 or similar, but open to suggestion

the reason most people can buy expensive cars is casue they are leasing them and casne have cars older or close to 7 years some even 5, that means they have to get a personal loan, and most people cant even get that, so then you have to find someone who has cash, the point of this story is its gonna be hard to get someone for that price, your best bet would be trading it in and getting something else, i know you loose money but at the end of it nobody is gonna pay anything above wholesale price which is somewhere between 50-60k, Im not trying to offend you champ just letting you know the facts, id be ready to pay 55k or it which is half way in cash

  3. Why not check out some Ausie kits going around, you might pay a little more, but the quality of the kits are very good and you have the added bonus of local warranty etc.

Example this is taken from Rotor Master (I know its a supercharger, but its still good).

There are two turbo kits available on this website:

    http://www.turbo-kits.com/rx-8_turbo_kits.html

Plus other accesories available if going the turbo route.

I was reading about another one recently in a magazine, i'm pretty sure it was Zoom, it was also an Australian kit. I thought it was ASE but I checked their website and it wasn't them?

do you think 12k is worth 200rwkw, i dont think so

  4. help need to find someone who has contacts with nengun or someone who has an accound with someone who can get me a turbo kit from japan or australia for my rx8, ive been looking at modyourcars website and they have the kit for $7500 recently bumped up from $5900, but nengun has the same kit for 4500 delivered, please if anyone can help be much appreciated, dont feel like handing over 4500 to someone in japan not knowing if i will get my kit.

  5. what does omori built mean?

damn a brand new engine.. :)

might be able to afford it after a yr of working part time at maccas.. lol

on top of the cost of the engine i should put aside how much roughly to get it fitted in?

sorry dud i dont mean to offend you in any way, but after asking so many questions it seems to me like your not the kind of person that can maintain a gtr, its not as easy as everyone thinks, and working at maccas is a big no no if you wanna drive your gtr weekends esspecialy when things start going wrong. better sell it for what ever you can get for it and buy something more in your budget, maybe turbo excel or civic or anything else
