  1. Minor bump. Haven't been receiving notifications so apologies to people.
  2. R34 GTR Turbo, exhaust, internals Up for sale are a bunch of parts I'm no longer needing after a rebuild process. If you have any questions about any of the parts, leave a post or send me a message. 1. Dash 7 Turbos - $600 Done approximately 35k kms, minimal shaft play. Not needed as gone bigger 2. Morristech Blackbox ECU - $500 For R34 GTR, bought from Unigroup but no longer needed. 3. Standard RB26 Longnose Crank - $500 Came out of a running engine, no reports from the builder on any issues, etc. 4. Stock Pistons and Rods - $150 Same as #3 5. R34 GTR Stock Dump Pipes - $300 Self explanatory 6. FJK Equal Length Front Pipes - $300 60.5mm inlets -> 76.3mm outlets If anything else pops up I'll add them in.
  3. Blitz SBC Type R or Greddy Profec B II After one of these dual solenoid boost controllers. Send a PM.
  4. No one have anything or anything similar before I look at going custom?
  5. WTB Equal Length Front Pipes - 3" to 3.5"/4" Looking for a pair of equal length front pipes for low mount turbos. 3" turbo side to 3.5" or 4" collector. Thought I'd see if any are available before possibly going custom.
  6. Also open to offers, can arrange postage too if needed.
  7. As per the title I have the following for sale: 1) Dash 7 turbos requiring a rebuild, been told there's shaft play but no damage to the housing $600 for the pair 2) Morristech Blackbox ECU for R34 GTR You could do some searching on the forums regarding this, selling as no longer needed (used). $1200 I will try to get photos where I can (the parts are not with me at the moment, at the shop).
  8. Not to derail this thread too much, but what are people getting with Famous insurance? Sounds like people are making the switch over there now.
  9. @GTofuS-T That might have been me.
  10. Regarding engineering you'll have issues with the following: Vented Bonnet (especially if fibreglass and not ADR approved.) Carbon Fibre Mirrors (Same deal, if not ADR approved) Race Seat (Again, issues if not ADR approved) Gauges (depending on placement) These are particularly difficult due to the costs involved for the tests if they are not ADR as you'll have to foot the bill proving these meet the ADR requirements, whether they pass or fail. ECU, turbo, etc is fine if you pass an IM240 test. Oil cooler should be fine. BOV is fine if it doesn't vent to atmosphere. Front Facing Plenum I would have no idea on (this might come under IM240 and review of piping placement) Airbox - as long as it is covered. Can be a sticking point as some may say it needs to be covered when the bonnet is open, others is fine if it's enclosed with bonnet closed. I am not an engineer but I have done a lot of research into RMS Engineering, the ADRs and talks with engineers on testing requirements, process, etc. Hope the info helps.
  11. After a new or working used part, available to post/pickup this week preferred
  12. Glad to see it worked out When I went Haks and Arthur were very helpful. End result I didn't need everything I asked, so they saved me a few bob (where they could have done it anyway when I didn't need the changes and charge me). Good exhaust note too
  13. An update - have sourced one. Just awaiting arrangement of pickup. Thanks to those who have PM and left posts.
  14. Thanks for the replies/pms - didn't expect such a quick influx. Will review and get back to people
  15. Prefer Sydney region pickup Decent condition, no splits, etc. OEM - no carbon, fibreglass, etc.
  16. Looks like I have to give up my spot again... this time work, grrr. Reserve list go nuts
  17. Pencil me in for now. Only issue I might have is work sending me away
  18. Unable to PM due to your inbox. Where to ship to so I can get a quote?
  19. Seconding Terry - ditch the mushrooms as soon as you can. If you know what ECU you're running there's also a chance it's running a japanese tune (who tend to run theirs very rich).
  20. I think 16L/100km is the highest I've seen and that's been in bad situations (heavy traffic, etc). For reference in a R34 GTR I average around 13L with a mix of driving (that's suburbia, city, highway and fun).
  21. Saw this thread and had a chuckle. I can definitely say I've had my share of admirations, some have been down right hilarious. Unfortunately most of these were when my ex was in the car and was able to relay them to me, as when I'm driving I tend to not notice these things (too busy concentrating ). Situation 1: Driving through the streets of the city, upon turning a corner into a street two guys were walking up it ahead of us. As I approached the T junction to turn (towards the corner they were on) one of them goes down onto his knees and arms up in the air, not sure how to classify the sound he made. Guess you could say he had a crisis. Situation 2: Driving around near the harbour tunnel entrance going through one of the turning on-ramps to join oncoming traffic - a motorbike coming from a different entrance drives alongside, gives a thumbs up and drives up a bit. About 5 seconds later does a "wheelie" and continues on. Situation 3: Kids - love the reactions these guys have to the GTR. I'm kind of grouping them all together as they always happen. Kids being walking by their parents but twisting almost 180 to keep looking at that car. Ones asking questions "Mum, what is that car" "It's a Nissan." Other's making statements "It's bwueee!" You get the general drift here. Situation 4: Getting papped. This has happened a few times in different forms (I'm sure everyone gets these). One - One day driving to a friends birthday car in the middle land moved up to be ahead of me in the outside lane. Hanging outside the window was a pair of hands holding a camera, which I assuming was filming. Two - Driving through the city, I ended up being the first car smack bang outside Deli France at an intersection. Two guys who were sitting down having a coffee got up and started having a conversation and asked if they could take photos. Three - Another photo papp at a set of lights. A guy with a DSLR ended up walking into the middle of the road behind me (3 lanes) to take some photos, luckily it was fairly quiet. I'm sure there are others that I'll remember in due course but thought I'd share some of the funny ones to give people a laugh
