Thought I would begin to maintain one thread to help keep this cleaner. Items for sale, negotiable unless otherwise stated: 1) HKS Silent Axle Back Exhaust from an R34 GTR- $350 (price dropped form original $400) Good condition, please see pictures in original thread 2) Whiteline Rear Sub-Frame Alignment Bushings - $110 ($139 from Whiteline) KCA349 - Opened but unused due to actually not fitting my car. 3) Whiteline Rear Camber Kit - $80 ($99.65 from Whiteline) W62544 - Once again open but unusued. This was due to not needing a 2nd camber kit. More things will eventually flow into here over time

Nice to see the car beginning to take shape Paul. I've seen it a few times in there, last time when Mark had the cam covers off working his magic. Liking the result with the Black Box too - Yavuz has been chatting to me about this being an option. Are you just running dual map, or gone the E-Flex route?

The short answer is "too much" Going rate this year seems to be around the 720-780 mark (as per the above post calcs for general Sydney)

Give Me A Ride Or Opinion (Please!) - Bilstein Or Coilovers
Watchamacallit replied to darksky34's topic in New South Wales
I guess the question is what is the budget? I'm running with SydneyKid's Bilstein setup on my 34 GTR after changing from S Tunes and for me personally, I find it a lot better. Sacrificed a little bit of the handling for a more comfortable ride whlie still retaining the feel of the car. I went with the setup on PSS9s and not on just Bilstein shocks so I have some of the adjustability, though I'm sure the shock/spring combo (Eibachs) are very similar. -

If I do get to come along, I'll probably be getting a train down (there is no way I'd be able to drive down in time after work). -

I've been thinking of the PSS for when my current tyres wear out, didn't know many skyline owners had been using them. Was tempted by the AD08s, but think their low tread wear would mean they get munched on the street. BWRGTR - let me know how you go, as I had no idea they were on special. Kind of insane considering locally they are around 500/corner. -
Thought I would do a little write up as a thank you to the guys down at Exceller Steering. A quick disclaimer, I am in no way affiliated with them, nor work for them, etc. Last year I purchased one of SydneyKid's suspension kits and after a bit of time finally got all the pieces together ready for someone more skilled than myself to install and set everything up. The car was first taken to Bruce, a friendly bloke btw, just before Christmas. Unfortunately due to the workload (as you would expect around that time) no work was done on my car - hardly a bad thing in my books as if Bruce had started and was unable to finish the work, I would have had no car for the Christmas break. Something I was grateful for. Now this brings me forward to January where the car made a return visit. I received a phone call on the Friday afternoon of that week informing me on the status of the car and whether I needed it for the weekend. Bruce still wanted to fine tune a few things and do another road test before returning the car but if I needed the car he would have it ready. As I was in no rush, I let the Bruce hold onto the car a little while longer. Next week rolls by and I'm called up by Bruce letting me know things are all good and the car is ready. When I get down to the shop, the work on the car is explained to me including some of the parts that weren't used (extra camber kit was not required, etc), all the old parts were put in boxes or wrapped up in bubble wrap to be placed into the car (thankfully all in the boot) and was then told to come back after things have settled down, where they'd measure everything up again and make adjustments as necessary - no extra charge. So, this is a thank you to Bruce and the guys at Exceller Steering for the work and care taken with the car (and to SydneyKid for his patience in my emails!).
