  1. motor's sitting in the engine bay all built - car will hopefully be put together in the next couple of months and tuned on E85

  3. Hey It's 26/30 bits, i noticed the massive difference between the 26 and 25 torque setting, which is why i was so curious that the 30 may be different torque setting again... any clarification? thanks again
  4. Hey guys, what is the torque setting for the RB30 harmonic balancer / crank bolt and the flywheel bolts (and any others that may be useful). I've read the rb26 and rb30 are different... so need some clarification and specs cheers
  5. pretty sure it came from QLD with RB20DETT and was engine swapped to the RB25DE + TT
  6. at one stage it had a RB25DE engine with standard gtr twin turbo setup on it... made decent power then i think it went bang.

  11. located in SA wtb REAR R32 standard brake lines standard discs (reasonable condition) reasonable 2nd hand brake pads.

    wtb - RB26 air chamber bit (underside of the 26 plenum)... it has 2 air lines going from the air chamber picture is the item
  18. hey guys, I will be running BOV on the throttle body side... BUT i'm wanting to move my AFM to the throttle body side also - should this be before or after the BOV? cheers

  21. Nice - thanks matt! - I was wondering about yours! didn't realise it was a OS giken style setup - cool. I've ordered a clear top cover - and I'm going to cut the bottom of that - and then extend the lower cover taller! Getting the motor ready to be dropped in finally! Have you had yours fully re-tuned with another fuel pump yet?
  22. hi, was wondering if I could see a few variations of tensioner / idler setups for the old 30det. Also what modifications were required to the lower and upper covers (if any) were made (also 30 lower cover / 26 lower cover??) My twin pulley (idler and tensioner) was done by nisspeed and is a bolt on application (i believe). I'm using a 30 lower cover and all the holes line up and i had to cut out the side and weld in a rolled section for the bulge of the idler (on the exhaust side). I mated this up with a 26 top cover and the gap is hideous, the belt is close to the cam gear cover (again on the exhaust side) at the very bottom of the cover... I think I will have to modify the cam gear cover (shorter) - then extend the lower cover (higher) to the right shape... and right clearances.... lets see some pics. cheers -matt
