  1. so the 10mm space is enough? need one of these ASAP - so where did you get studs from? any exhaust shop??? so they just need to be 10mm longer than normal anyway?
  2. pretty sure it has 'OP6' on the housing... same as some VG30's
  3. 34 turbo has larger rear housing than 33 turbo's. you should be able to make around the 200rwkw mark with that turbo
  4. yeah, there are some traces of black... lol... although i repainted the door jams black before the exterior was painted blue (to get rid of the pink...)
  5. here's a couple of pics... tune got delayed, but getting nearer to being ready for paint...
  6. yep remove the rear blade/fin thingy and block it up... OR what i did was run another line off the rear into a power steering cooler and return back to reservoir... works a treat. no leaks.
  7. will have results hopefully saturday.

Gizmo EBC I'm wanting to pump 1.5 Bar into it and see how it goes. what you reackon? I hope i'm not disappointe lol...
  9. didn't these just sell on yahoo for a LOT less??? they look like standard rb20 ones? what make are they?
  10. ok gotchya thanks for the reply Interested to find out how yours go simon have you got a related thread???
  11. so why is 280 duration too much?
  12. Hi guys looking into cams at the moment and i've come across some which are IN & EX 280deg with 8.9 lift. I am running standard RB20 head with standard valve springs. From what i've found, the life should be fine as long as i dont get over 8000rpm... is the 280deg too big and life too much??? It's for my cefiro which is for drift, driveability on the street does not bother me at all. Would i be better off with just a 256, 8.5 Poncam specs? Thanks in advance. -Matt
  13. well its finally all running good - just found that a T piece was had a hole melted in it, from when i was running the HKS GT2540 = loss of boost = wasn't running as efficiently as before ahhwell... fingers crossed this thing hauls ass... hopefully have it all tuned within the next week.
  14. give Andrew from AM Performance a call - he does awesome custom stainless work, as seen on my car / SimonA31's etc... he's is located in SA mobile 0401865373
  15. that is rather large, especially for a 20, what exhaust housing did you get and is it IW or EW?
  16. thanks tony - feelin the luuurrvvveeeee
  17. i had another similar problem (one of the many previous bugs) and it ended up being injector #2 plug, was not connected securely enough to the injector - so maybe just check the plugs are all connected properly and wiring to them is ok... otherwise... GL
  18. i put mine there on purpose, because there is no thermostat, so i wanted to restrict half of the airflow to it from the intercooler. seems to work well.
  19. gtr's can be bought cheap and are 444's... basically fit straight in... even easier with gtr ballast resistor
  20. ^^what he said^^
  21. it is not essential... do a CRADLE SWAP!!!!! then the ball joints wont f**k out in the rear toe arms once you have fitted the lock bar... or if you cbf'd then YES...
  22. well... it runs!! slight problem, need to modify the awesome front/dump as it is a little low but other than that, it was good to start the engine in about 2months (or more)!!! hopefully i'll get a tune next week, just have to get the dump/front modified again first. got the GT3076r fitted up (with the wastegate ported out and larger flap fitted) DMAX stainless manifold fitted (welded on extra gusset) (+ nissan ex mani gasket) AM Performance Stainless screamer front/dump *TUFF AS* new braided oil feed line and water lines, re-sleeved with heat sleeving ally intake pipe was modified to suit with 4"-3" reducer also fitted a nismo adjustable FPR enjoy the pics.
  23. yes put the silicon on the top - there is a thread in DIY section i think... something "misfire..." but it should not be sparking at the top hence the misfire you are getting.
