breaker bar, crank it over and it will loosen itself on the chassis rail... not the ideal way of doing it, but it works...

sorry to have another 3076r thread. before i ordered my 3076r i did some research and i remember someone saying that when ordering the IW option, make sure you get the over 1" size wastegate rear housing. my rear housing is a .63 IW however the wastegate hole is 1". drumaddict on here has the same turbo but on a rb20 and first testing shows that it has ridiculous over boosting problems... AM I CRAZY??? or is there a wastegate hole that is larger than the 1" like i first thought? i have the option of getting mine ported out with a new flap welded on for a couple hundred bucks... but realistically i'd prefer to get the correct exhaust housing like i was after... thanks in advance -Huddy

^^^ that is what i have sitting in my room, waiting to go on my ceffy. just need to get the wastegate ported out a bit to try prevent some overboosting issues... TAZZ i will post my results once it has been done... also there is another guy drumaddict with a ceffy who has the same turbo recently fitted to his RB20det... maybe send him a PM.

i was wondering if it a common problem for the gt3076r IW to overboost. i have just bought one, and so has a mate - he has his fitted on his rb20 and found overboosting a major problem. is it a common problem? is it as simple as making the size of the wastegate hole larger? (machining it out? and if so - how/where) it is a .63 IW rear housing (5 bolt style) . 0.6 front cover, 56 trim... etc... just like to get some info before i fit mine on - as i dont want the same problems. cheers -Matt

hey guys got rb20det ecu suitable for a31 / r32 it is an INTEC remap - it was a pretty basic map, to suit slightly larger than rb20 turbo. will be more than fine for rb20det application OR for the rb25 remap option using rb20 ecu $100 cheers -Matt

hey guys i have my ceffy a31 rb20 air flow meter for sale. perfect working condition. good for 230rwkw still... it has the SQUARE PLUG (same as z32) so it will NOT FIT R32!!! a31 specific loom required, (unless wanting to re-wire) OR perfect replacement if wanting to part out your car (will directly replace z32 - no wiring required) $100 ono located in SA cheers -Matt

yes that will make it run 'standard' boost (what the actuator is set at) eg boost it - it will read maybe 8psi. if you want it to have more boost, then shorten the rod, and repeat the process. do this until you find the right boost level, and then attatched and resetup ebc

did you guys get custom lines made up to suit? just got my 3076r... LITHIUM -i cant see pics of your dump, can you please post up, mine phsically looks the same as yours with the antisurge front, and same stye rear exhaust housing. -how did it go for standard intercooler piping to the top of the turbo? (well maybe not standard, as mine had previously been modded for the hks turbo...) -was there any difference noticably with the change in manifold? (even noise??) cheers -Matt
