lol yes we are - so it came with instructions aswell didnt it? also was it just a local tow bar place you had it fitted, and what was the cost they charged (obviously it may be different here) thanks

did you fit yourself? or did you get someone to fit it, and did they have any problems with fitment (or complaints about design?) thanks the $395 fitted for a standard (rated at 1000kg i think) was a custom made at Hall Tow Bar on Main North Road SA.

clean under carriage whats the deal with your brakes??? you got 5stud, but the small brakes like SR...???

hopefully that is it - coz i did wiggle some wires and its been fine for almost a week! and then it did it to me twice only lights that came up were oil / engine / battery... will disconnect battery and clean all terminals and re-tighten

the plugs??? not sure as i have no speedo and no reverse lights lol... when i get that pinion assembly hopefully i will have speedo and i think reverse lights should just plug in?

hi there still hunting around for towbars, considering the max ones, but would need to get it fitted in SA. I also went into a reputable tow bar workshop today. Quoted 495 for a custom heavy duty tow bar fitted... BUT they cannot fit H/D to my car as it was a large fuel tank and cant run tow bar stuff to one side of the chassis rails for strength/integrity. the could do the basic one for $395fitted which i dont want as i cant tow a car with that! So - if i was to get a max towbar, and took it somewhere in SA - would they say 'we cant fit this and dont recommend etc etc etc... Who has got a h/duty towbar in SA and where did you go??? thanks -Matt

guy in SA bought a 32 gtst from KANSAI with a RB23 in it. with a T78 - made 400+rwkw!!! i also have a rb24 with a hks2530 making 240rwkw. I know i could have more, but have sacrificed peak HP for more usable power for me with drift.

hey ryan post a pic up ! the water damaged seemed to off come in through the plugs for the handcontroller (from memory) it is just odd that with another hand controller that 1400r had before it DID load up and freeze on the logo, now with this one - it does nothing (BUT works perfect on my rb20 AP PFC)

2530 FTW made 236rwkw with stock rb20 engine - stock ecu (with FCD) - stock inj - stock afm. (pump/fmic/zorst/pod/bov/boost @ 1.3) have now made 240rwkw on my RB24 with pfc - gtr inj - z32 @ 1.17 Bar dyno results in the rb20 power/results thread.

EDIT - just opened up the ecu - chip in pfc has a sticker its says FC2-S22-2 does this mean anything - i will pm - nengun also, and will also be in contact if wanting to sell geoff thanks

according to http://www.apexera.co.jp/carlife/pro_apexi...ics/linup2.html that is the right model commander for the year and type of SR. but it doesnt even load up and freeze, and works perfect on my rb20det ap power FC.

ok a mate bought a brand new hand controller from kudos - for his sr20det - hand controller came - plugged it in and it froze on the apexi logo. wrong controller - so sent it back and got another one from somewhere else. finally came today (second hand unit) - plugged it in and now there is nothing - no freezing, no light up, no picture or writing. nothing. it was supposedly to suit a sr20det. if any hand controller is plugged in i was under the impression that even if it is incorrect, it will still start up and then freeze on the apexi logo????? hand controller number is FCCNT 9805 - 0023 BUT!!!!! - i plugged it into my ap engineering rb20det power fc - and it lights up and i can view everything and it works perfectly!!! My mates SR power FC serial no. is PFC SR202R 9812-033 . this was also bought second hand. And my ap engineering power fc is brand new from box about 2months. So i was under the impression that brand new units and older units were not compatible with the older handcontrollers??? so wtf??? anyone got any ideas on this situation - as to why the hand controller isnt even lighting up and freezing with this one thanks -Matt

crazy - thanks for all the replys it did it again to me yesterday :S i have got in contact with the alarm installer - he said it sounds like a sort of cut aswell - so wednesday the alarm is going to be disconnected to try and pinpoint it to that. the car has a brand new battery in it, and the terminals all look nice and new aswell - but i will disconnect and clean all connection areas. i'm pretty sure the car doesnt lose all power - as the first time it happened i didnt even know the car was off (coz its so quiet inside, and i think i had the radio on) I'm not running a pod, still the stock air box. It has a new clean panel filter in there. I will check the vacuum lines again - i did have a quick look but couldnt find anything. if it is the immobiliser, i'm not sure if the siren would sound... it literally may not be on for that long? it is very much like it is stalling, but without the drop in rpm (ie it will stall out with acceleration sometimes) I am pretty sure that the fuel pump would've been changed not too long ago with compliance, also the fuel in the tank isnt very old at all - a week tops of premium. It has not stalled at idle. I will re-check all electrical connections and connectors are all together properly. thankyou again

the rb20det comp / loom will run the rb25de ( plus T ) only with the 32 type. that i'm aware of -
ok had my stagea for around 2 months. been awesome. had an alarm fitted a few weeks in, all good, and just enjoying the car as it is. But in the last couple of days i've been having problems. Firstly - driving along in a carpark slowly, braking to go over a speed hump, when to accelerate again and noticed there was nothing - then noticed steering was heavy and dash lights were on. Car turned off! So i managed to pull it over, put it in park and start up again - fine. Kept driving all day with no dramas. Next day - my missus took the car, got to the end of the street, started to pull out, and again the car cut out - she managed to pull over on the wrong side of the road with the hazards on before restarting. She thought to herself, ok - maybe just a once off, so kept driving a little more up the road - and it happened again! Yesterday - i went out and came home numerous times with no problems whatsoever, so wtf? Today - driving around and noticed with slight acceleration when i was going around a round-a-bout the car jolted as if i did a bunny hop in a manual. (no change of acceleration peddle). I didnt see dash lights come on - and kept driving. I cant seem to pin it down to cold / warm / hot temps. I had the dvd/cd off and A/C off to try and pin it down to something like that. We drove the car from melb - adelaide which is 800km's and had no dramas at all in the last 2 months until a couple of days ago. I'm thinking it may be a broken wire / bad connection on the alarm/immobiliser somewhere??? and it is cutting all power to the car. It seems to be very inconsistent, so i cant even try to locate if a certain area, my guess is the alarm??? ANY HELP???? thanks -Matt

i had the same problem going from cefiro rb20 turbo to 32skyline rb20 turbo. - nothing a big drill bit couldnt overcome

yep all set for the 13th now !!! first practice in over a year!!! i did end up going the 27mm and 22mm, i was surprised that the front that i pulled out was almost exactly the same thickness, although a lot lighter, and with driving a huge improvement with the new one. rear was easily bigger than the one i pulled out, so i'm guessing that one was standard. have to soften dampers in the rear, and i will see how it goes as is in the front

bonnet fitment was better than expected! has a slight dip on one side but i know its not a show car, and dont really care lol... WHITELINE SWAYBARS now fitted!!! even just driving home, HUGE difference to say the least! end links are both pretty much vertical also and didnt have too much trouble with fitting. front is set on medium, rear on hard. (have to soften dampers rear)
