  1. Thanks Duncan for the helpful explanation I will just continue to build the car and once it's back together arrange a CAMS scrutineer to attend and tell me what else is required to make it approved. I think I will have to be sports sedan but I will read it and confirm. My cage builder has completed the CAMS paperwork already, so I guess it's up to me to get the car back together now. Thanks again -Matt
  2. perfect, thanks for that - I'll update with what I have for future ceffy owners thanks again
  3. $800 or near offer cheers
  4. Hi Matt (another Matt ) thanks for the info - what part number did you use for the balancer ? I've registered with Summit so once i can figure out what part number is best suitable then I'll go about ordering. Thanks again
  5. Ok, my engine build has commenced I'll update another thread shortly - I just need to know what what spec ATI harmonic balancer and part number I should use. engine will be approx 350rwkw - RB 26 / 30 in a cefiro. should I go for the 600HP or 1000HP option? as for pulleys they should be similar to R32 - but what do i need to look for to confirm belts? (should I check grooves on alternator / power steering pulleys?) who sells them at a reasonable price - haven't seen much under $900.00 also done some reading and I think some ppl have ordered from Summit racing - anyone had any experience with them? seems to be a bit cheaper than local ones... (maybe...) http://www.summitracing.com/search/brand/A...AN/?Ns=Rank|Asc thanks -Matt
  6. sooooo confused.... sorry all.
  7. Hi there, i was extremely happy with walker's roll cage, I believe he hadn't done one before in a cefiro and took on the job without any hassles. I've been in contact with him again to get some more work done and again - no worries, and quite happy. I just need to sort out the appropriate certification to go with it now. I had a look at the link and still kinda confused as to what I need to do next. I dont have a CAMS log book - so I'm thinking i need to apply for one, but i'm not sure what class etc (cefiro RB26/30). Also I have a completed hard copy of the safety cage registration form already (this is what I tried to take to CAMS in Adelaide...) just unsure what i do with it or where / who to send it to. Sorry if these are stupid questions, Thanks -Matt
  8. Thanks for the link, I'll have a read and let you know how it goes
  9. Hi all, I've had a weld in CAMS spec roll cage fitted by Walker Chassis here in SA - now the car is a rolling shell at the moment but i know i need to get the cage approved by CAMS. HOW do I go about this? I went into the CAMS office here in Adelaide with my paperwork from Walker Chassis, however they were not very helpful... I'm also planning on getting the interior painted soonish and wondering if this needs to be approved before its painted. Any help is appreciated. Cheers -Matt
  10. Hi all, purchased these injectors brand new and used them on my RB24 for 1 power-run on the dyno - I then removed and sold the motor... was hoping to use them on my RB26/30 build but they are too small for my application. these are AS NEW condition, like i said, fitted for power run, then removed and returned to boxes with original caps at top and bottom. suit RB26 / RB20 - top feed, standard fuel rail - Part number - 16600 - RR420 suitable for applications of 300rwkw and over (mates with FPR has seen 330rwkw) already losing money on these and my price is extremely fair compared to whats around at the moment asking $800.00. located in Adelaide - will send via registered post interstate at buyers expense. examples of others: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-NISMO-5...sQ5fAccessories - $998.00 + delivery http://www.nengun.com/nismo/high-performance-injectors - $1032 delivered Thanks -Matt
