  1. hi there i have a AP engineering apexi power fc on the way to suit rb20det - only problem is - i know that the loom is slightly different from 32 to a31 and sensors possibly good example is afm on ceffy is direct fit to z32 with afm plug having the rectangle one... WILL THIS FIT STRAIGHT IN AND RUN - or what do i have to do? :S get a 32 loom ( i f**king hope not)
  2. would running the stock ecu and power fc be similar to jap tuned gtr's etc when they run power fc AND fconV aswell? if u get me?
  3. hi there i know that kansai automotive - www.kansaiautomotive.com - have a stagea rear cradle which would have these 5studs... contact details on the site
  4. just to add z32 afm is direct fit onto a31 afm plug and pinouts are the same !!!
  5. 1. engine package should be fine as long as you get loom / ecu / engine / box 2. S13 coilovers front and rear - i run ISC coilovers $1399 brand new and these are PHAT 3. 5stud conversion? pretty sure s13 cradle is the same / so possible 32 also / s14 other ppl know more on this than myself 4. 32 gtst 4spot calipers bolt up - but you need 33N/A discs (if keeping 4stud) / appropriate brake lines / master cylinder 5. hubs - both should be fine 6. 32 gtr will fit in rear 7. front strut tower bar is a31 specific or most s13 fit aslong as the design alows clearance over the top. rear strut bar needs a31 specific or a universal type for s13/a31 as strut tops mount on a different direction 8. s13 castor rods fit 9. cefiro specific exhaust is needed / custom 10. cefiro specific / laurel i think ... unless modifying another nissan cage (although a custom weld in cage may be mandatory in the near future ruling out all jap cages in oz) 11. most wheels will fit - all depends on offset - the 32/33 should be fine 12. NFI... lol 13. not sure also - but guess it'd be the same as converting it in a s13 - just get the control panel and loom and wire up accordingly 14. 32 / 33 seats & rails fit directly - s13 does NOT.
  6. SAM 'dr drift' confirmed it so i guess its a simple as plugging it in the ceff
  7. lol thanks cef11e was starting to think i was seeing things... i will send sam an email to see what he says... FINGERS CROSSED its as simple as unplugging and swapping them over! anyone else know anything at all? thanks -Matt
  8. umm no i am saying that the CEFIRO rb20 plug IS the same and fits z32 afm... just seems to good to be true that the pinouts are the same aswell! anyone else got any insight?
  9. yep i found this out aswell - as unlike r32 which is round - the ceffy afm plug is the same as R31 - and guess what also fits Z32 AFM!!!!
  10. hi there i started to install Z32 AFM into my cefiro today - i researched information on here and found info to wire in as a reference and also from another site (rb20det.com i think). basically the information that i did find was that the wiring to the pins on the plug of the rb20 air flow meter - according to the information i found - is that they are the same??? the plug fits straight onto the air flow meter aswell. now is this just bizarre? or is this actually OK!? there are the 4pins in the middle on my rb20det afm plug and they line up to the 4 on the z32 afm. and once again according to the info they are actually all in correct order.... here is some of the info i was using... if people dont understand me then i will get some more detailed pics of my car and what i'm trying to describe http://www.rb20det.com/z32afm.html here is one of the links... and i used this pic as another reference for the z32 pinout also i've been told that - R32 has rounded plug, A31 and R31 sqare plug like Z32 - so would this also mean pinouts be the same? thanks -Matt
  11. ryan try ben stack - wrecking one.... ...what've you done??? :S
  12. thats paul milo from SA in the grey ceffy
  13. havent had a chance to fully test them yet hehe...
  14. have a full set of cefiro floor mats for sale they're boxed up in my shed at the moment, but if there is interest i'll hunt them out and get them up asking for $100 for the set - they are in good condition thanks -Matt
  15. here is a pic of them installed (obviously without the disc on)
  16. there is the TD05 16g which kelly mckinnon runs on his rb20 r32 he is making around the 230rwkw mark, internal gate, supposedly very similar to the 2530
  17. well... i bought the URAS brake shoes... they're the same as 32 and most other drum applications...
  18. 32gtst calipers bolt straight on also and 33n/a discs slip straight on 32 master cyl (to suit 4spot calipers) just need to get appropriate brake lines and cut the disc shroud a little and you have budget big front brakes tried and proven on my car
  19. anyone know what the code is for the fuel filters used?
  20. also was there any hurdles that people ran into with compliance? i am after something fairly stock but a cat back exhaust / rims would be nice... and is there a common problem (such as on a ceffy castor rod bushes) that needs to be done when complying?
  21. got a quote from shannons today thanks to Matt (8OOSTED) - basically came to 1200/year with 500exess + under 25 exess agreed value of 17,000 on a 97 stagea turbo/auto pretty happy with that
  22. pvp complied my ceffy for me - but prices got a little ridiculous to say the least - but if it all summed up that they were cheaper that sending it interstate it may've been an option will definitely have to do some research with the compliance people do people have contact details for -Phil White from IAMSHE thanks
  23. thanks guys - i called up PVP imports today in SA - they are 'looking into' the compliance thing for stagea in SA . i have an importer lined up who i will get a great deal from - just need a compliance person, looks like QLD is the go. is there a website to any compliance people also thanks for the heads up SK
  24. hi there i tried a search - stagea nooB also just trying to cover all areas before buying one of these - waiting for a reply on ins.. and now compliance i think i've heard/read that there's a couple of places in QLD that do it... But i'm in SA, does anyone do it here? thanks -Matt
