yeah i opened it up... and saw a line come up... thought it was like water running along for some reason... slightly touched it and it went a little further then crapped my dacks........ closed the roof and slid the cover closed.... so at least it wont shatter on my head HAHA...

also i think softy has some sort of rear gtr seats possibly? not 100% if they are GTR but dammmmnnnn i'm sure he could lay anyone down on those rear seats he's got!!!

hey thanks for the test idea... actually yesterday had a test similar 1400R let me borrow his hks actuator which we put on...and also we removed boost controller, changed hose and ran straight from actuator to turbo ( to run stock boos right ) anyway also borrowed a boost gauge and dodged up just to test with a bit of success it felt a LOT LOT better... still getting a hks evcIII to put in to test this week... then see how much of a difference it makes? big thanks to ryan (1400R) for helping out with parts and knowledge!!!!

thanks for the reply ryan pretty sure it has a 'nissan' actuator that black hose i dont think its standard, as its already been cut in half to insert a T piece for the dual stage bleed valve... the turbo seems to be in really good nick... no shaft play, turn the car off and its still spinning freely... will call you tonight

yeah pretty sure its 2530 if it wasnt though i'd be expecting more power aswell.... i didnt think it'd be remap coz with standard turbo on it felt REALLY torquey!!! (well from what i've been used to) and only had 140rwkw then... it almost feels 'slower' but with 'more' power it just feels like it wants to spool up and take off but its also 'feels' restricted...

got our ceffy back from getting hks 2530 / cooler fitted and tuned... maxd power 225rwkw which is good.. but major LAG problem... not making any hard boost till around 5000rpm ish... its worse than my 13BT with a 35/40 turbo on it....!!! just go no midrange and heaps pissed about the result... if i wanted a dyno buster would've got a t51 or something stupid... the hks2530 is supposed to spool up nice and fairly early, its a ball bearing unit aswell!!!.... HELP!!! ***just checked the computer*** it says nissan on it so i guess its a standard comp unless its been remapped previously (but how would i check)?? ***took boost controller off, and connected turbo to actuator (to run stock boost???) boost seemed to come on a little earlier around 4500rpm maybe a little earlier, but didnt test enough (also didnt push too hard as was unsure of boost pressure (no boost gauge)... anyone else have any ideas??? someone suggested checking a hose for a restrictor? is this the hose from actuator to boost control T piece (then to turbo on other side?)

just done this removed boost cont and ran hose straight from actuator to turbo (stock boost) === to check if it is boost cont problem result - seemed to be a little better, but unsure what boost it was at as i have no boost gauge and didnt want to push it too hard. but came on around 4500 ish in 2nd gear... also checked computer result - looks like a genuine nissan one, so unless its remapped (how would i check this) it looks standard.

talking about wastegate??? is this the actuator thingo??? the gold round thing that hose runs to boost controller? *very stupid question*

hey are you on msn sounds like we always got lots to talk about lol... how do i find if there is a restrictor in what hose ???? is this a rubber hose and how on earth do i swap the wastegate's over ????

hmm well i've DEFINITELY got a problem... got a hks 2530 - fmic/zorst/pump/ standard comp with hks fcd... it max'd power at 225rwkw 'conservatively' on 14psi...which is good right...YES. BUT ...now that i drive it, its not making f*k all boost and LAGGGGGGGY as all the way until around 5000rpm... can say i'm very disappointed and hope its a fixable problem... possible probs i thought of was - collapsing intake pipe to turbo / faulty boost controller (turbosmart dual stage fairly old) / maybe its not even standard computer... just spewing coz its got absolutely NO midrange... heaps spewing...

dyno was done by simon at morpowa... i know numbers are numbers, but on the same boost on the same dyno, the car only made 140rwkw with standard turbo and intercooler.... changed them over and now the increase on the same dyno is 85rwkw!!! so pretty happy... i know numbers can be fixed, but still a decent increase! as for injectors i'm pretty sure that the standard injectors are capable of this power, just very close to being maxed out at this power rating... (i think..lol) -

ok ceff got dyno'd / tuned today... it has RB20DET HYBRID GT SPEC FMIC CUSTOM ZORST HKS GT2530 WALBRO FUEL PUMP HKS FCD APEXI POD APEXI BOV at around 14 - 15psi it maxed power at 225.1 rwkw... this is with standard ECU!!!! i was shocked myself i was thinking of being happy with around 180!!! injectors - are unsure but have to chat more about it to mechanic tomorrow... cant wait to test -

HYBRID GT SPEC r32/33 gtst kit, is currently getting fitted onto my car, i will post up how well/easy it all fits up by the weekend...

yep had to do it on the ceff... not cheap.. but worth it... IF you're in SA let me know, and i'll give you the phone number of a mobile guy who comes out and does it... cost around 100bux i think for 5 or 6 bolts to get out... "Captain Thread" - absolute champ.
