  1. I'd be going with one of the other two you mentioned
  2. Maybe better off to look for a good stocker?
  3. Agreed, bin it
  4. The 20s in the A31 & C33 had no BOV for some reason Edit- woops as it says above!
  5. No DIN is not the standard in NZ, Don't know why sometimes the ST Hitec results are done that way
  6. Just saying the OP may be looking at e85 results and expecting similar, yes our dyno's are powered by sheep & fush & chups oil
  7. /\, the PT in that range should leave the most $ available for food
  8. Unfortunately the Nistune isn't used much in Auckland, at least Soichi has had a go & got the car running not too bad. The auto will always read lower, also all the E results on SAU will usually be higher than ours
  9. Doesn't look too bad for auto, did Soichi make any comments?, good luck getting hold of Andy!, it's only on 98?, as Bob says would be good to compare to std cams
  10. Should be fine, just go for similar rolling diameter, 245 should be fine with the right offset, prob around 35ish depending on wheel width
  11. I'm over 300 with BCs, with nismo diff it's not too bad, unless it's bumpy, then it's not so good
  12. skyline did win , they definitely need a decent diff!
  13. Which ever style of these cars you prefer are both good choices. If you haven't had an evo or similar before you should try one out. You'll find that the evo is quick around town etc but there's a lot of very quick evos & gtrs that are quicker Breasts is an easier choice for sure! Seems like it's been on your mind a while? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/365045-r34gtt-vs-evo78/ Give one a go, or wind the 34 up to 350ish
  14. They're both awesome!
  15. /\ quite often a decent skyline will eventually pass or pull away if it's a straight line & you reach a high enough speed, which usually doesn't happen on the road
  16. As above really, the Skylines are good fun with 300+kw, evos are awesome too You'll get bored at some point of whichever you have so if you've never had an evo or similar you should try it out You're more likely to get done for a high speed infringement in the evo but maybe more likely to get done for sustained loss of traction or careless use with a skyline which about sums it up? Edit: the sustained loss of traction is from traction issues, not trying to bake it as such
  17. Should've run with the clutch kicking!
  18. it'll go on, just need to make an adaptor plate for the AAC
  19. 33 25 & neo both in good condition produce a very similar result & ringlands very similar also, not saying neo isn't the pick given the choice but it's a load of crap how much better people say it is
  20. As above really, the Nistune will do the job but if $ to spare go for a G4 or whatever your tuner prefers
  21. Closer than me, sprung an oil leak last dyno day, stopped at 365 due to starting to make too much of a mess Might have to go again, still on 98e10 but should be able to wind some more out of it
  22. It seems they are lasting too long? Maybe 400 is the new 300?
