  1. no, the change is enough to reduce throw about 25% the shortened factory one would just be a low shifter
  2. such a short smile? your hour was up?
  3. short shifter has the same length lever but needs to be moved a shorter distance to select gears
  4. could have a bit of an air lock in the heater core? could try filling cooling system from heater hose, hard to say about noises, if it's making a different note should check belt is timed properly etc
  5. search nismo short shift, nengun should come up on the top, they have it
  6. i drove a 33 with a turbosmart twin port mounted on the pipe down inside the bumper, it wasn't quiet!, pretty much everyone gave me the death stare, or some will know it as the mother in law stare, the straight pipe exhaust with screamer didn't help much either
  7. the resistance test won't load them comparatively, 340ks!
  8. is it mould or that electrolysis looking stuff where it's moisture under the clear?
  9. 33 & 4 have longer rears than 32, seems the r34 turbo runs the same style rear lower mount as 4wd
  10. car is stock? std ecu/tune?, maybe it's had the advance till it pings then turn it back a mm tune?
  11. get some prices on a drive in drive out 25det manual conversion with a new clutch and some decent fluid, you may be surprised

  13. 25det rwd would be too long i'd be guessing (and electronic anyway), as 32 gtr is too short for 25det box as above pic shows, just a 32 gtr or gts4 drive should do it? (both are mechanical)
  14. comparing the price of an auto with a 25 box? really? really? the only cheap 25 stuff i've seen was 20 stuff that people were trying to fob off as 25det, 25de same as 20 we haven't got any 25 manual half cuts going for that price round these ways /
  15. could be just a manufacturing number, should be something like DIS-008, the bracket should look smaller than the usual r32 & 33 type
  16. /\ mine doesn't rattle at all, does say it may do in instructions though
  17. are they both re4s? check all the elctrical connections you'll prob find they're the same but r34 has different plug setup so would have to chop and change wiring, if they're not both re4s don't go there! with a manualised valve body so no electrical issues should be doable?
  18. uh oh... you searched bov's? (if pretty std setup will need recirc as that air's been metered)
  19. prob nothing you can do to get reverse back, assuming its got fluid or would be slipping in drive gears too, i just shifted house and threw out 3 working autos!haha, you'll prob be converting with rb20 box for that money
  20. up to you, i've had 3 a31s an r32 and a c33 out of the mechanical speedo cars and never a broken cable
  21. haven't seen any aftermarket, just get a secondhand one?
  22. lifters taking a few seconds to pump up with oil pressure? ks getting high? sludge? /\ could try different oil & filter, or if it is lifters maybe some pro ma if ya like your additives
  23. an auto r32 should work, a31 or c33 should do it too
