  1. how much fuel pressure? maybe fuel pressure plus the 27psi is too much?
  2. usually straight to afm, the subaru one looks the same but the afm bolt holes just dont quite line up?
  3. /\/\ this is gonna get locked, 25 with 3076 highflow or various, only gtr box if 4wd gts4 which box is very similar anyway, gtr box can go rwd but a bit of hass
  4. some 33 25des have them, some don't
  5. so hard to say, there's alot of not great mechanics around but also alot of people turn up with a car that's not prepared(and maybe a can of worms), maybe get back to basics and check everthing over for fresh attempt

  8. I agree with it being hard to find good mechanics, that's why you do it yourself, also hard to fix problems when you're not sure what you're starting with
  9. poncams are vct compatible, heaps better than grinds due to bucket side load and bla bla
  10. i drove a guys 33 one day to see how the turbo was, it had a megaphone exhaust with screamer and the loudest bov in the world, everyone gave me the hate looks within 1 minute of driving, before even flooring it, As quiet as possible is the goal I reckon
  11. 38 tial v band, plumbed back, certified, doesn't seem to be restricing power? screamer will attract unwanted attention and will fume the car out like the biggest purposely made exhaust leak, they're not illegal just for the noise

  14. are they familiar with rb and turbos? sounds bad they have no pointers on why it's detonating? o44 & 740s should have plenty of fuel, maybe try somewhere else before they run out of det. time?
  15. quite often if you bend one piece of the suspension you bend everything (in that corner), i know someone did something similar in a r32 recently which pushed the chassis rail back about an inch aswell, ...is on the chassis machine next week
  16. re5 same as re4 but has extra gear jammed on the back that's why the end housing is longer on re5

  18. you haven't changed CAS wiring? it's opposite 33 to 34, just reverse the wires like a mirror image to run the 33 cas off the 34 wiring
  19. anyone wanting to do o44 intank, this is mine on r33 style cradle with one way valve, pretty straight forward, all the bosch pumps are fully sealed
  20. the 33 is the bargain, 25 etc without spending heaps or rolling around on the garage floor alot if you put the 25 box in the 32 theres 30-35kg weight advantage lost and seems marginal from there? the newer models being slightly wider and having the petrol tank a bit further forward seem to feel a bit better? which ever shape you like you can't go wrong they're all good!
  21. I just got g4, am putting in IAT sensor etc this week so hopefully should have some results soon!
  22. i've had a number of de daily drivers, seem to be pretty hungry 12-13l/100km (around town driving mostly), going along with the under engined thoery the 25s used less gas than the 20e & 20de and go alot better
  23. 33 & 34 should have different plugs on the pfc

I know a guy that recently had ignition problems with power fc, although was ithrough rev range not start up, after numerous replacements of parts changed the ecu and problem solved, see if you can get hold of another ecu as guilt toy recommends to try, maybe the tuner has something around for a start up test?
  25. It must be quite common, had to follow my old man his pathfinder recently, when we went onto the motorway on ramp I was going to fly past him, but just before thought I felt something vibrating in the back and ended up not even keeping up with him! haha, car's been fine since
