I recently replaced my original H1 light globes with HID's but had problems with the new set up. The HID headlights worked fine for a day until the driver's side went out completely. I hooked up the ballast to the passenger side and it still worked so assumed it wasn't a malfunctioning ballast. About a week later the same happened on the passenger side headlight. I replaced the old plastic light bulb terminal with spade terminals, to see if there was poor contact in the connections. As they still didn't work I checked all the fuses i could find and replaced the RH/headlight fuse which was blown and also replaced the flasher relay. I then pulled apart the dash to check the headlight switch and the little spring system in it, but that looked fine. Since then i'm all out of ideas. The parkers and high beams work fine but the HID's just wont power up. I'm wondering if theres a fuse i could have missed or something else? I think the dipped beams and high beams run through the same fuse, so I its unusual that high beams still work. Any help would be great, cheers.
